If my phones didn't go on charge overnight .. what would be the point in going to work if no one could contact me ??
If my batteries didn't go on charge over night what would be the point of vaping ??

When it comes down to it, probably over 95% of ecig batteries come from China. Most of the batteries probably originate in a few factories. The main trouble makers are Li-ion batteries. I personally wouldnt leave a Li ion battery charging overnight, no matter who made the battery and who made the charger (I have a Nitecore charger and Panny batteries). It just seems like an unnecessary risk to me. My son uses a ego type kit. He left the charger on overnight and the battery blew up, and I MEAN blew up. It scorched the wallpaper and the cabinet it was sitting on. I had warned him not to leave it on overnight. To lessen the risk, he had it in the bedroom and the bang woke him up. If it had been in the kitchen downstairs.................well it doesnt bear thinking about.

I leave my phone charging overnight as well, I think they are a lot safer than ecig batteries, much better quality control etc. Generally made by the makers of the phones, ie Samsung etc and a lot more R and D and history behind them to re assure me I suppose.

I really do think this situation with regards to charging is each to their own ... if you want to chance it then it's in your own hands

If it had been in the kitchen downstairs.................well it doesnt bear thinking about. I have a pan at home, the type your granny used to have, thick heavy thing with a matching lid. My batteries are charged in there with the lid on, the lid isn't sealed due to the charger lead and they're charged on a kitchen work top. I also move anything I think could be flammable. I don't go out and leave the house whilst they're charging unless someone else is home. If I leave the house while someone is home, usually just my 20 year old son, he's told there are batteries charging. He's a little OCD like myself and has never forgotten to turn them off if he gos out. Accidents, the clue is in the name and they happen but if you can do what you can to reduce the effect they may have, then you should. Some people might think I'm a bit over the top but it makes me feel better along with the fact my grandbabies often visit so I just see it as good practice for me personally. Jay

@storm, are you a ghost?
Be careful with that TR001, they're known for trickling after a charge is complete.
Safety first. It's okay trusting a charger - if it's trustworthy.

I never charge anything via my laptop, I have heard it's more suspetable to getting hot, they never even get warm when charging via plug, I think it's more I don't want any damage done to my laptop should anything occur.

I'm doing the time warp. It's just a jump to the left..... nah, nah, nah.... and then it's back to 2013. Oh... I don't use PC/laptop USB either... don't know why. (Actually, I do know why - I don't trust charging anything really and if something's gonna go wrong, I'd rather it wasn't attached to an expensive computer). It's astounding Time is fleeting Madness takes it's toll...
