WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL. I love Dr Who and I love seeing the geeks making a comeback in the new series. Not to mention some awesome story arcs recently. Its great to see British shows doing American arcs, all the suspense over and done with in 6-12 episodes and not 24 like in America. Just enough. Brilliant, love it arghhhhh... ok Jez calm, be calm, your new here, don't make a fool of your self. Regards Jez

The Pirate one was a little naff, but that double at the start of the series had me and SWMBO nattering like a geriatric knitting circle. Bloody brilliant.

Always watch Dr Who but I am not obsessive (pointing no fingers Jez).
Matt Smith just hasn't got enough presence or style to be good after Tennant and Eccleston made such an impact. I think the stories are better, especially Mr Moffat's handiwork - always thought he was better than RTD anyway so was glad he took over.
Rory is rather annoying, I can see him coming to an overdramatic end in the future. I find Karen Gillan intriguing - I like redheads though and she's scottish (actually from near where I was born) so it's probably a hormone thing since her acting is quite middle of the road.

It took some digging to find this thread again but I wanted to say I'm a reborn Doctor Who fan. I've watched all of the newest series so far and am looking forward to the next lot of episodes. I was slightly confused by the episodes until I figured out I'd been watching the last series at the same time. Anyway I think the new Doctor is pretty good and must admit that Amy is very cute!

I haven't watched since Tom Baker I think. I used to love it as a kid. Actually watched a few with the one before David Tennant come to think of it. Ahh Tom Baker...those were the days. He was my favourite as a kid. The current one is alright too, i thought he was a little odd at first, but it kinda suits the role. My only complaint these days, is that Eastenders/Emmerdale/Corrie are on the telly waaaaay too much and Dr. Who...isn't.

Nowhere near enough Dr Who for me Spikey . . . I don't do soaps at all, not never. I am watching Camelot on a Saturday night, and I did watch that extremely roodey/gory series Spartacus the first time round, it's being repeated presently. My goodness, I've never seen sooooooooo many nekkid bits on telly.

I love Dr Who, one good thing about having a house full of lads is there's no arguments there! LOL. I thoroughly enjoyed 'Game of thrones' that had a lot of nekkid bits in it too Perps! Eagerly waiting the return of the 'Walking dead' series and 'True blood.' Can't beat a bit of death woken up - feel like it most mornings in fact

Lol Dee! There would be zero arguments over the remote control if we both lived together . . . those programmes are right up my street. Blood, guts, death, gratuitous sex & violence, fabulous!

I'm afraid to say I have already watched episode one of season four of Torchwood via streaming, since the USA got to see it a whole week before us Brits for some reason. I think people are going to like it, not bad for frothy Sci-Fi lol.
