New series starts tonight at 6pm.  I loved David Tennant in the role and was very sceptical about Matt Smith taking it on, but he's grown on me.  |

I haven't watched since Tom Baker I think. I used to love it as a kid. Actually watched a few with the one before David Tennant come to think of it.

Didnt really see alot of the Tenant Dr , but caught the Xmas special and we were all very struck by Matt Smith as Dr Who , so are recording the new series , yet to watch the first one !

I'm glad there's someone else who appreciates Doctor Who Mrl!! Matt Smith had big shoes to fill but I reckon he's doing a great job. |

I saw that Matt Smith and his lady friend at the Proms (TV) and was terribly put off by the flippertigibbetiness of the girl, and I don't like him either (too "of the era" and lightweight), and Dr Who has never been important enough for me to give anyone a chance to redeem themselves so that's that >  signed: Grumpy Frumpy |

Perpy, I'm a big fan of Dr. Who  Got to admit though, I agree with Scylla, I find Matt Smith to be too lightweight. |

To be honest i think "Matt Smith" is the best of a bad bunch so far of the present series , ie not great story lines , quite bad supporting cast , hope it improves ! Was hoping the husband of the negative/positive pregnant girl , was dead tonight , we all groaned when he came back to life |

Oooooo, I love it Dee . . . makes for a spot of light relief inbetween CSI, Antique's & Talent Shows. Although, I've to agree with Mrl - thought last night's episode was a bit feeble. . . Rory gets on my wick a bit. |
