Day two update and cartomiser question

Day two with the Riva 1100 kit

Notes so far for any fellow newbies waiting to start should it interest you and then a couple of  question for the more experienced as I'm a bit stuck now

Arrival day : put kit together with clearomiser and menthol ejuice. Smoked about 10 stinky fags while I worked it out and messed with the Riva. 7pm smoked my last stinky fag of the day and switched to solely vaping

Day One : Expected to mix vaping and stinky fags but got through the day by vaping when a craving hit. Didn't use much juice - 1ml ? Think will increase once I get used to it. No side effects and got the best nights sleep in ages


Day Two : Got to 230pm pm so far on just vaping . Vaping quite a bit more than yesterday as I'm being hit by slight stinky cravings - habit crave of something in my hand I think. No side effects so far

QUESTION

I fancy trying another flavour but I want to keep the clearomiser with menthol on hand
I have my second battery charged so I decided to try a cartomiser with some cherry cigar

Watched video of friendly bearded man filling cartomiser. So far I have removed the two plastics "covers " off the cartomiser. Have removed white bung with tweezers. Have used the condom method ( glad that did not involve actual condom - was wondering !!! ) and filled it from the bottom with cherry cigar e-juice

I'm just checking my next steps. I think I take the plastic see through ish cover I've used to fill the cartomiser off and wipe down the coil. Do I replace the white "bung " or not ( tis the round thing with a hole in it I am talking about ) . I am going to have to borrow the drip tip from my clearomiser for the time being as I only have one so what should I use  if anything to bung up the clearo containing menthol juice

update

Now super confused. Does the cartomiser need to go on the end of the clearo. Struggling to see what I would put onto the carto to take a drag if not as the drip tip seems to long to poke in
I only have one clearo thats filled with menthol - do i have to empty this.

Un-screw clearo off the battery and replace with the carto...you are good to go:)

Edit: Or you could just plug it onto the other battery as you get two with the Riva.

Karen, remove the clearo from your battery & screw in the cartomiser You can then fit the cone over the top of it to make it look more streamline Don't put the white bung back in - use the drip tip instead

sorry but still confused
carto screwed on , cone on ... the drip tip has nothing to screw on to .I'm pushing the drip tip into the unbunged carto ( wick end is facing up - hope thats right. ) the drip tip has threads but the carto has nothing to thread onto. drip tip sort of balanced on the carto but if i pick it up it fall off - let me know if a pic would help

I know I am doing something daft but can't work out what

Karen, it sounds like you are trying to use the drip tip that came with your clearomiser? if so that won't fit into your cartomiser, there will be separate drip tip included in your kit.

you are quite right Karen there are no threads on the inside of the carto if you can just push the drip tip in it should work, if not you'll need to put the plastic cap back on

Quite right - I was using the wrong drip tip. What a plum I am !!

That had me flumoxed in the beginning too Karen! I had put the white bung back into the carto then couldn't work out why the drip tip didn't fit!

It's all easy when you know how, until then just keep asking questions

Well done karen on no stinkys. Dont worry about how much you vape, just as and when you feel like it. Some people never have it out there mouth all day long. I usually have a vape of around 5 drags, put down for 15-20 minutes then have another go. Glad you got the carts sorted with the other flavours, relax and enjoy now.

Hi Karen, This was me 6 months ago. 2 clearomisers and 4 lots of flavours and couldn't decide which to try out and didn't want to spoil my precious clearomisers by putting different juices in one after the other.

Oh how things change!!!!
Now I have 3 viva nova tanks, 4 buds, 7 clearomisers, 2 kangers, 7 cartomisers and 2 spheroids.
There is a different flavour in each one and I'm blowed if I know which is in what.

I have to vape one to know what is in it and some of the flavours are so obscure that even after I vape it, I cannot decide what it is.

Oh the joys of being an over enthusiastic happy vaper!
