I have discovered with the Lavatube if you press the power on/off button 6 times quickly with display lit (7 times with display off) then it shows the actual battery voltage. Useful to see how much charge is left.

I use my LT with 18650s with nipples - just the cap doesn't screw right up. I added an O ring to make it look neat.

I just got the efest 2000mah and the cap wont screw on all the way looks like i need a o ring for mine. Can anyone recommend a high mah decent 18650 thats only 64.5mm long so it will fit in the v1 lavatube from ecig wizard. I bought a 1700mah 'lavatube' battery from them when i got the mod but although its a perfect fit (64.5 mm) its non branded and i dont have much faith in it.

so long as the cap screws on mzal and the LT fires the Efest will be fine, although, for cosmetic purposes an o ring would make it look better!

Just got my Lavatube today and have some Torchy FT 18650 2800mAh protected batteries and some Panosonic NCR 18650 MH12210 protected batteries. None of these fit. ??? Can someone help me find a good battery that will fit. Also dose it have to be protected? Many thanks The LTs use an unprotected battery because the LT has its own protection built in. I see there's more FUD being spread about the use of unprotected batteries - they are fine if used in a protected device and even if you look into the cheapy so-called 'protected' batteries, it would give you pause for thought. Many of the cheap protected ones aren't worth a light. I'd rather stick with a good quality unprotected one and a decent protection circuit in the device.
