I paid £10 for the one rechargeable from Sainsburys (despite them being £14 on their site) and £6 for the cartridges. One cartridge lasted me most of today, I usually smoke about 30 rollups but today only about 5.

Well, you did OK then.

The trouble is, in a month or two, you'd still be smoking rollies.

I met a couple who both had E-Lites. She was saying how great it was her and her husband were *only" smoking 10 a day between them. They were also spending £60 a week on refills. £60 and they hadn't even quit.... ???

I showed them a RIVA, which costs about £10 a week to run. They didn't like it...you can lead a horse...

The girl at the shop who was raving about the E-Lites - which got me to buy them and then onto this forum to find something better - was totally dismissive when i told her that I didn't like the E-lites and had found out about vaping.

Unfortuinately i haven't seen her since as I only used to go in the shop to buy baccy and maybe the odd pint of milk.

I'm coming to the conclusion that unless you smoke less than 10 a day (and probably not proper fags) mini e-cigs are simply a vanity product.

Just went with a tobacco and a menthol for my first order. I was looking at the other flavors but had to stop myself before I bought them all lol.
I'll just take it one step at a time - once I've had my kit a couple of days and am happy with the results I'll buy some more stuff.

Ok, here's an update.

Although the '10 Motives' cig was helping me, I was still smoking quite a few rollups first thing in the morning and late at night.
Then, yesterday my Ego starter kit arrived and I'm pleased to say it was like night and day in comparison. It's actually a really pleasant experience using it and gives me my 'hit' of nicotine much more effectively! As I result I haven't even felt like having a rollup now for about 36 hours
I found a local shop that sells a small selection of liquid so picked up another two bottles and I've ordered a spare battery, some spare clearomisers and some more liquid online as well.

I'm SO pleased with the results so far and I only hope I continue to feel the same once the 'honeymoon' period is over.
