How long should I expect Ego batteries to last?
I bought my first Ego kit at the start of january but only bought a single kit til I seen if vaping was for me. 2 weeks later I went halfs with my friend on a double kit so we both had a spare kit and it was cheaper than buying 2.
My friend was round the other day and said one of his batteries wasn't holding a charge anymore and only lasts around 2 hours. As I usually top up the charge in mine I hadn't noticed but after trying them one lasted most of the day yesterday and the other one has only lasted 2 1/2 hours this morning.
The batteries are all 1100mah I know that batteries deteriorate over time but I didn't expect them to go this quick especially when they are getting swapped around regularly!

Mine still last all day long sjs after 2 months of hard use. Check the contact pins are up on the battery so they make a good contact with charger and give the contacts of charger and battery a clean with a cotton bud and either vodka or pure alcohol from chemist. Stick it back on charge and see what happens.
I clean contacts once a week on all chargers and batteries on the ego's.

Thanks rosco!
I've been cleaning the contacts with a cotton bud regularly and making sure there's no juice leaked onto the contact points and the contact pins seem ok. I get an instant connection light when I put it on charge!

Drop the vendor an email and see what they say, i know Vapelnd give a 3 month warranty on ego batts so maybe your supplier does to?

I'd contact the vendor. The batteries should last longer than that. I've got Ego batteries that I've had for a year or more and they still hold a charge, admittedly I don't often use them now but I did when I first had them

i would definately try lifting the centre pin, the 1100mah battery roughly last 900 puffs, well that is what the manufactors claim

Hi , If the light is changing from red to green on the charger then they are getting to 4.2volts okay. I think they may be getting a bit "tired". It is the way that lithium batteries age and that is a pretty good sign of ageing. Two hours is nowhere near what they should last on a 1100mah battery :-S

Hi robby yep the light changes red to green! I understand that batteries start to lose charge as they get older but I didn't expect them to start dying at 6 weeks old if it's the first ones we bought. If they are the ones from the later double kit they are only around 4 weeks old.
