New Tank Arrived

Hey,

New tank arrived for me today: www.smokshop.com/collections/cartomizers/products/smoktech-u-dct-locking-dual-coil-tank

I have had to fit it with a plinth and big drip tip to stop it moving up and down, just waiting on the flanged smok tech cartomizers to arrive as the locking system only works with flanged carts

Main problem with it though is that you have to fit it with a 510-510 adaptor on the Vamo or there will be no air holes:'(

Gotta say though it has a very solid feel about it and feels very well made.

Having a blast with it though vape wise and taste @ 5v

I think that looks like a tank i bought! Does it take the newer flanged cartos that have the round shaped flange as opposed to the sort of oblong shaped ones?

If so, it's doing my head in! It's almost impossible to screw off and on batteries! The carto doesn't protrude enough at the top to get a hold of so when you try to unscrew using the tank to hold onto, it just goes round and round!

I can't see if it's the one with the round flange or not!

this is the one I have, although I didn't get it from here, tbh, I can't remember where I got it from

if you look at the 2nd picture you can see that the flange is round. so although the tank won't slip if you hold the tank to try to unscrew it, it just goes round and round!

Edited to add, as I said I didn't get mine from here and reading this description it mentions a locking ring, mine has nothing that locks, so although it looks similar it obviously isn't the same

Go down to the product and the is a little box that will show you the piccy of it, right next to where it says reviews.

Underneath that locking bolt there should be two edges for a flanged cart to slot into.

on the newer style ones there isn't two grooves but a circle, hence my problem with it

Yes I have some like that, two rounded edges and two straight edges.

Some of the newer ones aren't like that though, or they're clones, but i can assure you, the one I'm using at the moment, the flange is circular and a totally bad, PITA design !
