I take it back Karma, you are right, it is a crappy tank, after fully testing it again i found:

Does not work with a vamo unless you have a adapter as it will not connect to the vamo directly because the cartomizor will not reach a connection.
Tried different cartomizors and it has a 50/50 chance of floods.
Very tight pull when using a adaptor.
Leaks very slightly at the locking end of tank.

Don't know what i done before to get it working better than this, perhaps before i used a dodgy carto and it reversed the tanks faults

Saying the above it does work better on a ego-twist, not much but a bit.

It's a shame really as it is a very nice looking tank and the problem could easily be fixed by the manufacturer, but for now i would advise not to purchase this product until this matter is fixed.

If anyone wants it to mess around with or something just send me a pre-paid addressed jiffy and you can have it, perhaps use it as a paper weight if all else fails

The one that is not working is the Smok U-DCT (lockable ring at the bottom) Piccy Here

The new one i have ordered is just a basic tank without locking ring Piccy Here

It's not the brand i had problems with it was the design

That smok udct tank you are having trouble with is working fine on my s/s vamo it's in my hand now and I haven't got an adaptor either , mine just screws straight on and works a treat , no leaking great vapour , great flavour.....

Are you using Smok Tech carto's with the flange that locks into place so it does not spin or move up and down?...like the piccy on page two of this thread.

Yes that's the ones , the cart has two straight sides on it which allows it to lock into the tank then screw the locking ring in place and screw it onto my vamo , no movement what-so-ever.......works a treat for me

Well you are deffo a lucky one, if i screw that tank on with that carto in it wont even connect to the vamo battery pin unless i really screw it on very tight but then there is no air flow so i cannot even get a vape out of it :-[

Romelee, try it with a 510 to 510 adapter, that'l sort the airflow out!
