I am still fairly new to vaping and have been mixing from about day 4. Now I'm heading rapidly towards the second month and there is one craving I have not managed to fulfil. Does anyone out there have a recipe that would approximate the wonderful rich, deep flavour of a Monte Cristo No 3 Corona ? Of all the things I used to smoke it was my favourite, tasting like nothing else in the tobacco world and I would like to taste it again. I didn't smoke them all that often but I have been craving it quite a lot for the last week and it has been a great temptation to cave in and buy one for old times sake. I know if I do I may well be back smoking cigars (at least not ciggies), but I would rather avoid this fate. I have mixed a fairly smooth cubanish flavour myself using some flavourart concentrates - 12% cuban supreme, 6% 7 leaf, 2% Vape wizard, 1% Bitter wizard. Done with 50/50 and at 18mg/ml I have tried altering the PG/VG mix and the other ingredients in small increments to get to this but would like it to taste even more cuban. Anyone got any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

I'm a one horse pony on flavourings Verey so can't be of any assistance to you I'm afraid . . . plus my mixing is completely random and nowhere near as scientific as yours I'm afraid.

Its really hard to help , as i havent a clue what a real "Monte Cristo No 3 Corona" taste's like ?
What cigar liquids/flavourants have you tried & did any get close ?
I suppose if you want it more "Cuban" up the "cuban supreme" percentage ?

You can see why I had to give up cigars long ago - I have very "refined" tastes. Simply is the best thing I ever tasted tobacco wise though - it must be all that rolling on virgins thighs.
They cost so much because the manufacture process is very intensive. One person goes to the tobacco field and picks the leaves for one cigar. These are then dryed and cured naturally over months. Then another person checks all the leaves still match in aroma and size. Finally they start to roll the leaves together and it's maybe three different people needed to get one cigar done.
The final product is then store in a lovely cool dry place until sent out to the various suppliers. Then a soon to be broke smoker comes along and buys one - and yes I only could ever afford to buy one at a time. The smoker then takes it away and finds themselves a nice quiet spot all on there own to relish the initial taste and aroma. You could call it the rolls royce of cigars but that would be calling it a mass market item.
