I bought some ego/Riva i tanks and I am really pleased with them and the flavour and throat kick is great. I have seen the 510 XL Clearomizer and read good reviews, but which is best? I know the clearomizers hold more liquid but which gives the betetr taste and throat hit?

They are different beasts really... the tanks [ego, riva, itank, piper, etc] are handy for out and about. Clearomisers are a bit longer therefore a bit bulkier, not much though. Personal opinion I prefer the Clearomiser's

As Wiz says Tyne . . . they're similar but different beasts . . . I like them both equally, although much prefer using the clearo's in a Map Tank or similar - I find the draw much improved.
My grumble with clearo's is trying to see the weeny holes for filling them, a problem I don't have with the Ego-T/TT.

Will the Clearos work with the GDPT?

In theory a high resistance one will, as when you use the hub you'll be vaping at 5v Clutter . . . but opinion seems to be divided . . . our Ian reckons that they taste burnt at that voltage, although Scylla got on ok with Cloud9's HV ones - I think . . . but would need Scylla to confirm that.

i use my 2.4/2.6 on an exo with a 5v 18650 battery with no issues. i love clearos but also like ego tank atties but it all depends on how im feeling when i wake up in the morning as i may take a couple of clearos to work or use ego tanks all day. to be honest they are both cheap enough to have both these days

My GD-PT got on well with Cloud9's standard size 3.0-3.2 ohm clearos, but that size on 5v (= GD-PT + hub) means refilling hand-over-fist The XLs I bought from Moju are 2.6-2.8 ohm and wouldn't work on it, also a couple of them leaked straight thru (say nowt, Camper ). I'm waiting for Lisa to reopen Cloud9 (s/be tomorrow but has already been postponed from 25 April) because her tech advice is good, she can tell me what biggies she has in stock to suit. Still have to get a map tank and am dreading trying to figure out how it works scylla

IMHO clearomisers in a Arry clearo tank at 3.3-3.9v take some beating.Any higher voltage than that and you get the dreaded burnt taste, regardless of the ohms.Ive tried everything with them, and i know what im doing, and how to vape at any voltage.Only way i can see you not tasting the burnt taste is if your taste buds are totally shot tbh.Ive had the highest resistance clearos at 5v and you get a burnt taste ::)Have a go though and see for yourself.Same in the map tank, great at lower voltages, piss poor at 4+v.I got them to vape at 5v originally but i now accept that they are far more enjoyable at basic voltages.
