As I was disassembling and rinsing the gubbins of my clearo, I noticed that the wee bit of the drip tip that actually screws down inside the tank has a whitish discoloured bloom on it where it has been in contact with the juice, much like what the acetone in nail polish remover would do to finger nails if left on too long, if you know what I mean? This has obviously got to do with my latest Auntie Flo's Pear Drops quaffing obsession and got me to wondering, if this is doing this to the plastic, then surely it cannot be good for my innards? Jinkies!
Frogster?
Anyone?

I wouldn't have a clue. I've never come across that in any of my clearos. Sorry. I'm sure others will know more than me.

Interesting factoid: A percentage of the population cannot smell acetone at all. Of those that can, the majority describe the smell as pear drops.

can't comment on the juice but you might consider chucking the drip tip and getting a replacement.

yes, my tank was lopsided earlier today. Took it apart and cleaned it, then put the wider end flat on my desk and applied slow steady pressure to the top until it clicked back into place. Put it back together, no leaks, happy bunny That'll teach me to drop it

There's plastics that will dissolve in stuff that your innards are perfectly happy with. I wouldn't worry too much.
I don't know what Auntie Flo uses, but I did make a note to myself to avoid CCW's pear, which has rather an odd data sheet.
