Well these new ones certainly aren't of the same quality so it wouldn't surprise me Chris, but you'd think that they'd at least make them compatible with all 901 devices.

I would imagine though that manufacturing costs of these are pennies especially in China where wages are little more than a few pence a day. They've probably had a few big orders and put work out. The metal is definately rubbish, I'll see if I can get a decent photo of what's happened to the one I tried to screw down tighter into my SD.

If you could Dee that would be great, then I could use it if/when I start a thread on the Eastmall ECF forum . . . these are completely different LR901's . . . they barely came primed either.
It would be interesting to see if other EM customer's have experienced similar to us.

Just tested mine, firstly they did not work on the SD..BUT I have pulled out the bottom center pin of the atty and they are firing up OK now..

Sorry that read like I have taken the pin out completely..what I have done is just used a needle to ease out the center pin slightly...just enough so that it makes contact onto the SD

Typed it all out and lost my internet connection. Insert a pin gently under the central circular ring of the atomiser battery connection end, ease it out a shade so that it stands that wee bit more proud and they work on the SD! Lisa you really are a saviour.

A beacon I'd say Mrl. All mine now work on the SD, fingers crossed everyone else has a similar success.
