Well done Li5a, I've just tried one of mine and it works.

Right I've manipulated the centre connector on the attie and they do work. I've also found that where I thought the atty had sheared it was actually the central part of the attie that had pulled out.

This was easily fixed by pushing back in, only problem the vent hole remained covered as the centre had twisted whilst being screwed into the SD.

Remedied by screwing back into the SD, pulling gently back on the atty and manipulating to realign the two holes. Then put a pin through the hole and very slowly unscrewed from SD.

My goodness I am getting good at this

So two ways to use the 901's from Eastmall - our totally uncaring supplier

Either A) Gently manipulate the central atty connector using a pin.

or B) Use both a 901-510 adaptor and a then a 510-901

Both work equally well (or should do) Neither should be necessary >

its strange really as my last lot were the strongest powered yet they were also the shortest lasting with an average of 5 days.
there just great then they just stop, no drop off just dead.

now this morning my first new batch atty died after 36hrs.
so on reading this ive lifted the inner connector and it is working again.
im wondering if maybe the last batch didnt match my ggtb, sadly i still have the dead ones from the last batch so i will try to pull up the connector on them and see what happens.
great news though on the new ones for those having problems.
maybe this has something to do with the spitting as well, could it be caused by an intermittent connection, "just a thought"

edit and another thought.
if you have used one on ie your ggtb and it works fine but not on your ie sd.
you pull up the connector and it works.
you may need to remember to do this every time you swap from one ecig to another as the ie ggtb would just push it back in.

Two days ago, I had the opportunity to experience the LR 901 of @aldo, in my ALPHA 501 PV, and........ well, made ​​all my atty's go to trash, even my CISCO 306 LR1.5ohm , The LR 901 is simply amazing, by the great balance it gives.

Now i had to order an adapter 501 \ 901 with the hope that @ Aldo, drops one of this, to the ground, so I can get without @aldo seeing it.

Selina has replied to my last email, which I can't see as the file is too big to be viewed it says . . . so goodness knows what that is.

I'm still of a mind to start a nicely worded thread on the Eastmall forum on ECF about our experiences with this latest batch of LR901's . . . how would everyone feel about that? Would you also be prepared to back me in expressing our collective disappointment?

Although I have to say again, huge thanks to Lisa for coming up with this fix.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are the same Aldo, as Eastmall supply to many of the UK Suppliers. . . . hope you get your parcel tomorrow.

Me too Perpy, not just with the quality of these, but the company's attitude when we questioned them not being compatible with some 901 devices straight out of the box, so to speak...

would also be useful in finding out if others have had these particular atties, or if the change has been too recent for many others to have been sold

Did you use a Hotmail email addy to communicate with Selina, Perpy? as i know they're pretty bad when it comes to dealing with big files...

could you forward it to me, perhaps i'd be able to read it in gmail?
