No cold that I know of Sam.
It was very strange, anything in my mouth would have no taste till I swallowed then there was a hint of taste at the back of my tongue.
I'd say I've got about 40-50% of my buds back now, I can taste at the back and down the sides but not the tip or the middle.
I think it should be ok in a while though, considering how bad it's been the past couple of days anything is an improvement

Hmmmm I thought it was just me that had this problem. Only been vaping 4 weeks and got a couple of different liquids last week that I wasn't able to taste or smell (and I havent been ill)

Passed them around and other people said they really tasted/smelled strong (capuccino and cup cake)



A week later and I still have hardly any taste or smell from my liquids

Got to be getting taste buds back to normal. I can only taste coffee but like kibbster said, at back of the tongue. Going to vape minty for a bit now I think

It's strange and I've got to admit not exactly pleasant when it happens.

As far as I know I've got my buds back working but they are a bit broken :-\

I bought 150ml of liquids a week before it happened and they were all lovely.

Now I can't vape them, one has next to no taste the other burns my throat :-(

I'll hang on to them in case my taste changes again but it's still really annoying.

Just over 3 months now.
This happened last week, none of my juices taste as lovely as they used to but most are a reasonable vape.

I seemed to have been fine on my e-cig type thing.. then got the Ego/clearos last week and can hardly taste anything from either now!

First time it's happened to me but I read about it a lot before, seems quite common.

Happened to me about 6 weeks in, and again a month ago. It will pass in a few days, I found sipping water, frequent teeth care and changing juices regularly all helped.
I too have read that this is a common occurrence, so don't panic folks, your taste buds will revive and all will be better again.

I'm still a bit off too. Thought I had an abcess as was getting a metallic taste in my mouth all day long. I had a Vivi Nova from vapour break with my Vamo order that came with a SS Drip Tip.....stopped using the tip and seems to be getting better. Could be a cadmium plating issue, abcess Dentist says is an Ulcer ( I had an appointment for a crown to be adjusted anyway).

Mine went all over the place, couldn't taste anything, then could not vape anything sweet for too long, lasted about a week BUT now i can taste and vape whatever i want

Yep - and stay clean throughout the day for a change!

Have also noticed my tongue is properly pink now
