That does make the evic look really nice, I am seriously considering getting one as I've moved on a fair few pieces of vaping equipment to friends this week. Two things stopping me the imminent arrival of the janty mid and I would really like a svoemesto kayfun which would decimate the budget I have as a result of my recent sales. From what I saw about the MID on the Haze Hour I wouldn't bother unless you are a member of Mensa. Admittedly it was a pre-production version but even remembering the review gives me a headache. Not user friendly and probably one of the worst user experiences I have ever seen on anything let alone an e-cig. If they add a screen then that would change, but as is... I'll avoid like an STD. I've ordered my evic that should be here this week so not started to think how to make it look nice yet. I might just go loud and proud full sized

Hi Blakey, Have the evic on my short list but i am a bit concerned about the 5v limit, does this restrict you owners in any way, also the new firmware i understand it also limits the wattage?

Do you normally vape at more than 5v? What ohm do you use? The mods I have would probably set fire to juice at anywhere near 5v

Good morning All, When would you need to vape above 5v & would this restrict the use of the evic as its still on my short list, especially as I am seeing a lot of mods coming out for it lately?

Good morning All, When would you need to vape above 5v & would this restrict the use of the evic as its still on my short list, especially as I am seeing a lot of mods coming out for it lately? You need the 5v range if you feel like tearing the fibres out of your throat Seriously though, for the vast majority of vapers with atties in the 1.8-2.5ohm range 5v would be a maximum power setting you would use before things started to taste burnt and scratchy. 5v and above comes into its own when you are using atties that are 3ohms and above. So- unless you like a seriously strong throat tearing hit when you are vaping then you wont be going much above the 4.2v mark which makes the evic a solid purchase. If like me you hate the tubes that are supplied then there are plenty of better and more aesthetically friendly tubes available to purchase. If you decide you need the better tubes then consider just buying just the evic control head and supply your own tubes. That should save you a few bob

I find with a 1.8-2.4 head anything much more than 3.6-3.7 tends to burn the juice very quickly.

As promised, the siam tubes in 18500 size As you can see from the pic below they are not as nice looking as the kir fanis set in the same 18500 mode One thing i did like about the siam tube head was that you could still maintain the use of the ego threading on the evic connector due to the design. Next to the kir fanis head And the siam mods head fitted The kir fanis head fitted But the versatility and looks of the kir fanis set makes it a much better option for me. Here it is below in 18350 mode next to a paps in 18650 mode
