People I miss...

It is great to see the increasing numbers of new forum members swelling the ranks day by day. It's interesting how some people become forum stalwarts and others post madly for a while then fade away. I know we all have 'real life' going on which can drag us away. I guess some people come here for specific information and stop visiting when they have what they need. Others may fall off the vaping wagon and go back to the fags.

It got me thinking about some of the folks I used to interact a lot with who no longer seem to post. So if any of you still visit and see this, pop in and say 'hi'

This is the nature of online forums though, people come and people go.

It's sad, but it's reality. You have an interest in something and then it fades. I don't post all the time, or it would happen to me as well. I know full well it would.

Well I'm not planning on going anywhere. You literally can't get this much differing advice and friendly banter from anywhere else. Although I'm not sure me going missing would make that much difference tbh

I know Gordy has gone and he was one of the stalwarts of AAEC, it breaks my heart to see him go and I still hope he may change his mind (although I'm not in contact with him, as I'm sure his friends are), but we persevere onwards and upwards.

What I mean, for myself, that if I was on here all the time, I would quickly become bored of it and search for something new.

I have not been around all that long, but from reading the posts of those that are re-appearing after some time away from the forum, they seem to me to have obtained all the vaping gear and e-juices that satisfies them and have gone off to live their lives as normal, albeit vaping now where once they were smokers.

Afterall, if there really are 750,000 vapers in the UK, then 748,000 of them are vaping without the aid of AAE-C so it is not really surprising that some of our "stalwarts" will join the majority from time to to time without actually throwing the towel in and return to the evil weed.

That confused me too lol, according to facebook "our" Gordy has now been banned from here.
