Have just seen this thread-am so pleased for you hon! I also know what it's like to be housebound and how exciting it is to be able to get out...confession time, I bought a wheelchair from eBay. Just a little manual one, but it means I have been able to get out with my oh lately, and has made such a difference to me. Only got it last week, but been too scared to say anything on here, but I totally understand your excitement and am so pleased for you!

Not so much for me although it will mean i can go out on my own, but Mr Dolly has arthritis in his knees so pushing me around isnt easy. I hope yours really improves your quality of life. Oh!!.. and see...knew I wouldn't be able to sleep. I did drop off but only for 2hrs. |

It is here already Cas, but i cant pick up till 9.30am as they had to give it a pre delivery service.
Geez i best go back to bed or i will be too tired to drive it.

I've over slept!! OMG... munching toast at high speed whilst i take my insulin and meds. My daughter will be here in 20mins. Which is a relief as i cant put my own boots on.  I have developed OCD as i keep checking my handbag to make sure i have all paperwork. |
