Its a never ending story on the equipment and liquid front! I've placed an order the the mini nova and some liquid I like and I won't place another until I need stuff. I'm being firm with myself!

I find that with the mini nova and type B plinth I can use the plinth to regulate airflow. Turn it tight up against the nova and it cuts off the air completely. Twist it down slightly and it starts to let air through, then adjust up or down to taste Yes, depends on the battery of course. I don't like the idea of screwing down a Nova too far into a good quality eGo. or is it safe to do that?

With the Nova screwed in 'normally' there is enough play for the plinth to screw up and down a few turns. Screwing the plinth upwards (ie unscrewing it from the battery) puts it tight up against the bottom of the Nova base and cuts the airflow

So bring the plinth "up" to meet the Nova, not the other way around. Got it.

Thank you daveyboy. Just thinking ahead to my next order. I have seen some lush ego embossed batteries. I am getting on really well with clearos at the moment, but a change it good as a rest as the saying goes. Absolutely... I still use my Clearo's because I stocked up with replaceable heads for them. The other day the mini novas weren't doing it for me and the clearo's seemed great that day. A wiser person(cant remember who)suggested alternating every now and again. They actually suggested that occasionally there would be a day when your favoured tank/clearo/carto just wouldn't be right! The sort of thing that a newbie doesn't understand or dare i say believe! They were absolutely right! I still occasionally fall back on a Riva and Clearo and am surprised that it's actually a decent vape everytime. You tend to forget the older simpler kit still works well once you start getting into tanks and VV.
