Menthol juice

Has anyone a reaaaallly easy menthol recipe. Just want to make a plain old lemon/lime menthol at 50/50 pg,vg
Not had much success with the juices I've tried to make so far.

Make yourself up a base Lemon/Lime brew . . . Capella's seem to be a popular choice.

Then just add a pinch of Menthol crystals, until you find the level of Mentholation that suits you Padiho, in a 50/50 mix your crystals will dilute quite happily.

Or, you could make yourself up a separate Menthol concentrate using the crystals/PG and then add some drops to your base Lemon/Lime, again until you find what works for you.


Simples.

Excellent advice, go for it Padiho, it is one of the most straight forward mixes and cheap as chips once you make your own, besides, as Perps says, you can have the lemon/line/menthol combo as strong/weak as suits you

Do I really just buy the menthol crystals from the chemist? The stuff you put in hot water and put a towel over your head to inhale?

I really like vaping menthol.



For mixing, apart from normal mixing ie - PG Base,PG & VG dilutants, and menthol flavour,

Is there anything further to be added, ie sweetener etc etc ??

Bells Menthol Crystals are the ones I have used, take a 10ml bottle and fill half way up with the crystals, fill the rest of the bottle with PG, put the lid back on and put in warm water till the crystals desolved.

You can now add your newly made Menthol to any premix you already have, or make it up into a menthol solution by taking a small amount out and adding to any VG/PG ratio you fancy, if your adding nic or any other flavour then take that into account.

So, I may do something like this- to make a 10ml bottle of Lemon/lime and menthol at 18mg strength

If my bought nic is 54mg, I would-

Use 3.3ml nic
PG/VG 4.7ml
1ml of the lemon/Lime and 1ml of the menthol I created earlier.

Remember, that is using a base nic of 54mg, you can get it in many strengths and I am only using 3.3ml in a 10ml mix to bring the level of nic down to 18mg.
The PG/VG can be all PG or all VG or 80%PG and 20% VG or any combination you fancy.
The 1ml of Lemon/Lime and 1ml Menthol is just a suggestion, it maybe to much or not enough of either, that comes down to personal taste.

"One" doesn't, but the liquid may..... (menthols don't take too long)

Something I found out is that if I add a few drops of Silver Spoon Peppermint food flavouring it improves just about any menthol juice.

You'll need to steep your base fruit flavour for a couple of days, fruits don't take too long either BA, then your Menthol addition won't take very long at all as Frog says.


Assuming you're going to make them up separately that is.

Just bought some Dr Oetker Peppermint extract £1 from Morrisons.

Do you add a few drops to the Menthol concentrate? - or to the Menthol eliquid? (PG/VG, Nicotine base)
