I have started constructing my own devices - but have limited access to decent tooling e.g. lathe etc.
I would dearly love to build my own metal tube mod but just physically can't myself. >
I could spend time finding a machinist and materials etc. but that would really be a soul destroying exercise I think. ???

Instead I shall have to start saving, which is a slow process on benefits, and I have seen the device I would like.
Trouble is it isn't even on sale yet - but that has an advantage in I will have time to save, on the other hand it might not get released.

I love the build quality and look of the Super T series of devices and that one would be great as I prefer the side switch compared to the current models with the base switch.

Feel free to comment or suggest other devices - in the mean time I am off to design some more devices myself.

That super t is a pretty nice looking mod. You need to start making a few few simple mods and selling them to get the cash for something like the super t. Even if you sold your mods for a tenner I'm sure the money would soon add up.

Could you hire a lathe? I don't know how big they are so it might be a silly question. Say you got a design done and had pre orders maybe that would cover the cost? I'm just rambling here, pretty boring being at home when the rest of the world are at work.

It's just a 26650 battery holder - you could easily mod a cheap torch body to do the job... no lathe required.
