Yup 7W on a 1.8 ohm is about 3.4v
Exactly what I'm running now on my Evic (this juice burns quite easily.)

Well i have left it to soak overnight in vodka to clean the thing, gonna let it dry out and try again with your tips

If you like hot vapour you might be better off trying dual coil LR stuff.
I've got some iClear DC clearos and they really heat up very quickly and you might get less burnt taste with smaller pulls.

I had the same problems,i don't know why it was different but when i used a head with a short wick instead of long all my problems went away.

have you invested in an innokin 30i clear yet? i find them so much better than the nova. i dont have shares in the company but cannot praise them enough

I tend to fine LR Duel coil drain the battery down in no time on Ego batts.

I might try one but i REALLY don't like the look of that drip tip.

Just a update:

After cleaning and trimming the wicks and setting the ego @ 3.8v it don't taste burnt anymore and is slowly starting to taste of RY4 all

Good news
You may have to puff a bit more to get the same amount of vapour as 4.2 but at least it won't be burnt.

Was wondering how long does these heads last, i will only be using RY4 in it so no juice change as i have dedicated batteries:

1xtwist with DCT = Banoffee
1xtwist with DCT = GVC
1xtwist with VIVI = RY4
1xtwist used as a battery swap over when one of the above batteries dies

Depends how much you use them, what eliquid and what voltage Rom . . . I've had Vivi Nova heads last for weeks, others days.

It's a known unknown really.
