Is there such a thing as a reliable clearomiser? I've only been vaping a couple of weeks and have tried quite a few different ones but there always seem to be issues with them. I started with Ce4's and 5's but found they were flooding quite a lot, becoming hard draw or simply packing in after a few days. Then I got a Mini Nova (which turned out to actually be a clone) that was OK for a few days then started getting really hot and hard to draw if chained. I'm using a couple at the moment - a Kanger T3 which was working great to begin with (apart from being a bit too airy but that's personal preference) and I really thought I had found 'the one'. Then I realized that every time the liquid level drops below 1ml it starts flooding. The other one I'm using is a genuine Mini Nova which is working quite well except the tank keeps filling with vapour. I'm guessing this means there's a leak somewhere. I'm just using Ego batteries at the moment although a Vamo should be dropping through my letterbox any day now. When that arrives I have a full size Viva Nova to try with it, also considering getting a rebuildable for that but I'm still looking for something reliable that I can stick on one of my Ego's when I'm at work or just out and about that I know I can rely on. Any advice?

All I can say is that I've had 3 minis from Vape Escape and so far they have scored 100% across the board. I didn't like the full sized one and found it almost a completely different design. I gave it to Dee... I have 3 x Vision V3s, one of which dismantled itself, but I glued it together and it's still going strong. Once I realised where the leaks were coming from, I can report 100% with these too. I am debating, right now....live, as it were.... to try the Innokin DC CE5? With your original mini nova, have you changed the drip tip? I find if the base and lid are tightened up well and it still has the original drip tip, it's impossible to leak vapour into the chamber/tank....

I have about a dozen Vision Ego V3 rebuildables from both VE & LF. Have had them over 6 months and just keep replacing the heads every few weeks if not months, (tip: buy the packs of 5 from VE), no sign of any problems to date. Just wish there were even more colours as I keep getting confused as to what's in what, but that's just old age. Have also mini Vivi Novas but they don't do it for me.

I did change the drip tip for a while but today I've been using the original one again and still have the leaking vapour issue. Other than this I really like the Minin Nova, it seems to tick all the right boxes so I'll take it apart tonight, give it a clean and see if I can getting running 100%. Thanks everyone for the other suggestions, I'll look into them online tonight.

Anyway ... I was still having the vapour leaking issue with the mini nova so yesterday tried it's big brother, the Vivi Nova. All day it was performing great with no issues until half way through the second tank of juice when it became a really tight draw and seemed to be almost closing the airflow halfway through each draw. It felt like it was fighting against it. I cleaned it all out and left if overnight. Tried again this morning and it was just the same I changed the head but still no change. I've been persevering with it for the last few hours and suddenly it's gone back to it's original working state again for no apparent reason ... ? Must admit I'm really getting disillusioned with all these problems, maybe my vaping bubble is bursting. Cigarettes were never this unreliable.

www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Vaping+Spares+%3E+Cartomisers. Vision Nano I actually love these( although I seem to be in the minority.) have never had a leak, easy to fill, great vapour and taste. May be worth a try...need to close of the end on first fill and take 4-5 hard sucks. No gurgling, no airy feel, nice and small to carry spares

Thought it would be good for testing juices but it flooded after about 1/2 an hour. It's all cleaned out now so I'll give it another try. Maybe I'm not sticking with stuff long enough to learn and adapt to their pros and cons - I've been through so much gear in the last two weeks.

No, I didn't get any down the centre. It was working fine for a while then just flooded. I blew it out and it was good for another 5 minutes then flooded again. That's when I washed it out and gave up.
