Anyway ... I was still having the vapour leaking issue with the mini nova so yesterday tried it's big brother, the Vivi Nova. All day it was performing great with no issues until half way through the second tank of juice when it became a really tight draw and seemed to be almost closing the airflow halfway through each draw. It felt like it was fighting against it. I cleaned it all out and left if overnight. Tried again this morning and it was just the same I changed the head but still no change. I've been persevering with it for the last few hours and suddenly it's gone back to it's original working state again for no apparent reason ... ? Must admit I'm really getting disillusioned with all these problems, maybe my vaping bubble is bursting. Cigarettes were never this unreliable. Look at e-smokeless.co.uk they have 3 for 2 and I've not had any problems with them. Not rebuild able though but will suffice until you find the ones you want. Be a shame to let clearo problems put you off vaping

xrayspecs hopefully to get back on topic, I have an evod (same or similar setup to a t3 i think)and also had the same below 1ml flooding problem, i placed a piece of 2mm wick over the top of the existing wick and all my problems are gone, Well worth a try wick is very cheap

Just a thought if you have no wick a cotton bud/ball/pad will do it, you can twist it to make it wick like, then pull the top tube off the head ,place it in there and put it back together causing it to be a tighter joint between the wick and the tube hopefully stopping the flooding. If using cotton make sure it is wet when you put the top tube back on then make sure it stays wet. Edit:make sure the cotton is clean and contains no bleach like products, if you are not sure boil it

There is a thread on UKV about re-wicking a T3 with it. ukvapers.org/Thread-Kanger-T3-re-wicked-with-Ekowool

Thanks for the tip about adding wick to the Kanger, I've been using it a bit again today and really like it apart from the flooding issue (which has happened once again so far.
Oddly enough (once again) I ordered some wicks along with some wire earlier today (to try rewicking the Novas) so should get them in a few days. I'll certainly give it a try ... fingers crossed. On a side note, I also saw the Kanger Protank reviewed - will have to give that one a try when it's available.

I'm not really sure if there is a completely reliable clearo, if you really think about it. This (for lack of a better word) technology is relatively new and still improving on an almost weekly basis.
In terms of reliability I think the carto tank is still king.
Anyone else feel the same?

I just bought a new Mini Nova and the head design has changed.
The metal washer bit that fits on the head used to be flat on one side, and concave on the other.
On my new Mini Nova, it has a pointy top which extends out through a hole in the white rubber bung (like a CE4 does).
Not sure why this is, but on this new style mine also fills with vapour when I use it.
Edit :-
Hah, just noticed. The new drip tip has a rubber o-ring inside it (as well as the one on the outside).
Looks like the pointy bit extends up into the drip tip to make a seal. My centre post was however a bit crooked, and the pointy bit was jamming up against the inner rubber seal in the drip tip.
I hooked it out of the drip tip, then assembled the screw top collar to the drip tip, and carefully screwed the collar back down making sure the pointy bit engaged nicely into the drip tip.
It's much easier to draw on now, and the vapour doesn't end up 'blowing back' into the clearo.
I appreciate this is difficult to follow, so shall take some pic's tommorrow.

On my new Mini Nova, it has a pointy top which extends out through a hole in the white rubber bung (like a CE4 does). I'm pretty sure the one you're describing is a non-genuine version. I picked one of these up first (which was getting worryingly hot during use) and then ordered the a Vision one. As for my issues, they have been minimalised thankfully. I got a Vamo today and found it brute-forces enough vapour from the Vivi Nova before it has time to restrict the airway. This has made it very smokable (although the Mini Nova is still getting a better draw through it). I'll still be looking into rewicking both the Nova and T3 and will look at some of the other alternatives suggested but for now this has made my vaping less frustrating.

Think I've solved it. I'm pretty sure I've got to the bottom of the issue with my Vivi Nova, seems I wasn't tightening the head of the atomiser enough. When I was removing the lid to refill I noticed the head was also turning so I really tightened it down and it worked fine after that. It's been working great all day at work and I've just cleaned it out again before refilling and made sure to put the head on really tight again and it's still working fine.

I was doing that as well X-ray. Chucked out a couple of perfectly good heads cause I was convinced they'd died. It is very easy to unscrew them a bit when refilling so something worthwhile checking
