Is it safe to put needles/syringes/bottles and such through the dishwasher, or just wash up in the sink ?
Used to have a microwave steamer for the kids bottles when they were babies, may keep a look out for one at the boot fairs.

I usually just run a bowl of hot soapy water to wash all my kit when I've finished, and rinse off with hot water then leave to air dry. Haven't had any cross-contamination issues so far . . . Andy

same here just wash in the sink with mild soapy water then rinse, with new syringes i always put a strip of selllotape over the marks and stops them rubbing off.

mono you could paint the outside of the syringes with clear nail varnish. That will stop the numbers disappearing

I've always put mine in a saucepan and water and boiled them, but from what I've read what the rest of you do, I think I'm must be going a little bit over the top in cleaning my stuff!!

Dont put needles in the microwave mate. Don't worry, I was only thinking of the syringes/bottles for the steriliser.
