Well i was fiddling about last nite as i usually do and was having trouble with one and was getting annoyed at keep taking on and off the tube as i kept getting a burnt taste.Which i think its died up on me already but nvm still got 4 more going.
So ill try and explain this best i can ill try and get a vid up soon for you people if the instructions arnt too clear.
So heres how i clean mine and it does a bloody good job.
I put the needle in get any acess juice out whats left rite at the bottom.
I then proceed to fill quater full with warmish water give it a shake this ensures all juice is off the bits of wick.
I then get the needle suck out the water in there then get rid of that water then i proceed to fill the syringe up with cold water do the same as i do with the warm water fill quarter full then shake. This has to be done around 4-5 times id say and make sure you use cold water as it tends to get rid of the flavor you had in there previously.or do this till the water is clear inside the tube.
I then give a quick dry burn and wipe the top with tissue to get rid of water i then refill with my juice of choice.
Then its done already to be vaped again youll get the flavour from the last one for the first 3-4 drags and then the new flavour you filled with comes thru.
I hope this helps and if you need any more info please dont hesitate to ask as im not a good writer more of a doer lol.
**please note i am new to clearomisers myself and i wont be held responsible if anything goes astray. This information is to the best of my knowledge**

I didn't have any trouble with the 2 types of Clearo I've tried, just wiggling off the tube from the screw-fitting (attached to a battery), dangling the innards under the tap (still attached to the battery), then blotting the string and popping the tube back on. I think I'd take loads longer your way - but I may be mis-visualising it, it wouldn't be the first time scylla

@scylla Now tbh hmm guess it does take a lil more time than doing it the simple take of tube and rinse but it save the hassle of keep takin of the tube which lossens prima/glue or what ever is at the bottom. Its just another method i found that is quiet simple as some people are frightend to take things apart. Clutter Well i did shove em in the washing machine and i ended up with plastic bits in me socks:P hehe Only joking **DO NOT TRY TO PUT THEM IN THE WASHING MACHINE LOL**

theirs only one way to clean a clearo j and thats in the video i put up many moons ago which ill put up again just for you its the only way to do it really as its impossible to get it clean without removing the clear tube. oh and dont forget to do a few dry burns when its all dry and before you put the tube back on.

Lol i saw this on your other thread mate and i do agree its proberly the best way but the way i used does it quiet well tbh.I think the way i do it is mayb more for the people who are frightend scared to take things apart. As i know a few people like that.
But i do agree that is the best way in the vid.
Any ideas why i keep getting a burnt taste on one clearo?
Its bloody annoying as ive got three on the go and filled up them two twice now and both taste fine each time but the third is being a bugger lol.
P.S Mark mate i got my carts for my joy today just to let you know recived with many thanks.

Thats a bit like chucking your analogue away cos it got a bit wet, Sorry Hi Fi never been so wasteful. Although they are very cheap items I agree with you on that point. Cheap - indeed... at £1.50 for a clearo, use it three days and bin it. You'd be hard pushed to get a mars a day for that kind of money.

I do it the same as in the above video, its the most effective way of cleaning clearomisers.I dont agree in binning them every three days though Some of mine are three months old now and still going strong,i suppose its ok if your made of money. If you maintain them well and dont mind cleaning them, they will give you a good service life.In saying that,i dont carry on using them if performance drops, thats when i lob them.

Good advice on the clearo's although you may find first few drags a bit watery as the water clings to the wick. With regards to the burnt taste I had this on a couple, one was due to the wire filament being wound slightly too far away from the centre hole and charring some of the plastic or rubber bits, not nice. To fix this is what I done successfully. If you take the thing apart to clean as normal and dry off the wick, then dry burn a couple of times. Once the filament is RED hot you can see if it one that has looser winds if it does just use a small needle (when cool and not attached to battery) to gently budge the filament wires closer to the middle. Also after dry burning so all smoke disappears you will also see a white ash residue on the filaments. Again just gently use needle tip to gentle scrub across the filaments, like on an old washboard, and then tap upside down on a piece of towel and you will see the ash residue which would otherwise have hung around. Hope this helps. EDIT: forgot to add had a bit of deja vue today whilst trying to fill my clearo, couldn't find the hole to save my life, and damaged my needle tip trying so hard. Forgot I'm using the new ones with the donut ring on top of the holes. Doh! Kev www.FreedomVape.comAh cheers for that Kev ill have to give that a go. i do love the cleros what a wonderful device vapes nice and full of flavor

Jamie make sure the rubber silicone bung isn't to tight as you may have it pushed hard onto the ceramic which will be stopping the juice wicking. I tend to push the bung down with the plungers I remove from the clearo syringe mod as it's a perfect fit but just make sure it's not pushed down too much.
