PG and VG.

Hi all,

I'm a little confused over the mixology part of vaping but would like to start to make my own juices.

I'm looking to get a good understanding before jumping in.

If I wanted a good throat hit would I be looking to add a higher % of vg? (70vg/30pg)
If I wanted more flavour would I be looking to add a higher % of pg? (70pg/30vg)

In very basic terms, higher PG will give more TH, higher VG more vapour and slightly sweeter. Flavour can depend on how much in your mix, what you are vaping it on (atty type) and what voltage/wattage. Flavour is very subjective, like Marmite.

Edit. Just seen in another thread that you have been vaping for a year. Surely you must know what % of PG/VG you like in a mix by now? and have tried various different percentages.

As Roger says, PG tends to give more throat hit, it also carries flavours better. VG gives more vapour, has a slight sweet taste, but tends to mute flavours a little.

It's really hard to pick a vendor when starting off, I had loads of sites open last night trying to compare prices and started getting guilty about NOT ordering from the guys who post on the forums with great advice and contributions.
