Clearo advice

Just wondering how can you tell when a clearo has had it.

I have the clearo that came with the Rival kit and Vision V3. I have bought new wicks, bases ans tubes ready.

The heads tend to last around 2 weeks ish depending on how much you vape before they start to dull the flavour. Good rule of thumb i use is to keep clean and replace every 2 weeks. As for the rest of it just change when it breaks.

It's like sucking a Maccy D thick shake with no apparent result. No flavour no throat hit no nowt.

I have washed out a few in warm water with good results. Set it on a radiator to dry and your good to go.

Thank you everyone, had one today with mint Choc chip in and no taste. It also seems to mist up inside the clearo. Good job more wicks are on their way:)

I will try cleaning them before replacing parts. I have 5 on the go with different flavour for about 2 weeks now, but haven't been cleaned for a week.

I'm not the best person to ask. I lost all flavour from my 3 V3s over the last few days.

On inspection, they were beyond saving through some light dry-burning.

Better get the box of tricks out tonight and do a dozen homemade wicks.

Djs being a bit of a numpty I think I will stick to the ready made ones, £10 for 5 won't break the bank, however the extra juice (that I don't need) the ego embossed battery, spare tubes and spare bases might.

My excuse for the battery was its pretty and need extra batteries for a weeks camping trip in July.

Cleaned one overnight in Vodka, left it to dry all day, then did a quick dry burn, now it tastes burnt. Guess its dead.

My OH has had her Clearo that come with the Riva kit for 6 weeks now and still works great

Its one of the rebuildables that is tasting burnt. The one which came with the Rival is throwing a wobbly and not vaping, however it has a juice that I have not tried before from Vapourtine. I will replace the head/wick when they arrive on Tuesday.

I still have 3 good clearos:)

The wicks have to b completly dry when you dry burn otherwise you will burn the wick. Also as stated above if its been a while since you last cleaned them they might have gone to far to salvage.

I tend to renew heads every 2 weeks.

Certain flavours gunk up the coils quicker. Mainly thick tobacco flavours and dessert vapes.

I got it about 3 weeks ago and been using it every day although not that much as I have 5 on the go with different flavours in.

In a strange any I am glad it has happened as I can now tell when a clearo has had it and know to have spares ready and waiting.

3 weeks is quite long. I clean mine at least once a week.

They have all been cleaned a couple of times, a newbie error on my part. Just have to remember now to clean them at least twice a week.
