thanks kibbster Thats what I got from all the posts I read, with few mentioning issues except people just not liking the price. I am a fan of quality built items, but found myself not taking it out the house and hardly using it. I would like to get something small enough to take out, nicely built, but one I am not worried about placing in my pocket with keys to take with me on everyday life. Hopefully it will sell and then I can get looking for a replacement that will meet my needs. That makes sense, a lot of people say the Vari costs so much they don't want to use it which defeats the object of owning one. Like was suggested the Vamo is very popular and does wattage as well as voltage (unlike the Provari.) it's a mod which is a fraction of the price of the USA made Provari so isn't a bad buy at all. I like the Lavatube, again fairly cheap but works very well (VV) And the MVP, excellent battery life, VV and very good build quality also a fraction of the Vari cost. If you are into techy toys the Evic is cheaper than a vari and does wattage as well as voltage, I also think pretty good build and is my main device now. There's also the Zmax which is supposed to be a good VW and VV device. Then there are the mechanical mods that don't have VV or VW but can range from cheap as chips Chinese mods to seriously expensive hand built and polished devices. Masses of choice

I was a bit worried the vamo was a bit too big for the pocket? Isn't a Vamo huge compared to a provari mini? Yes it is.

Hi Chrissie
I started/and have an ego, I was looking for an alternative that offered a better/long term vaping experience.

I was a bit worried the vamo was a bit too big for the pocket? You can take the bottom tube of the vamo and use it in 18350 mode.

hi djs, I bought the provari on a payday moment of madness. The provari is great, just doesn't fit my needs, thats all. OK. So are you planning on just using egos? I can understand that. What I wouldn't understand is selling a provari then buying another posh battery/mod.

Hi Chrissie I started/and have an ego, I was looking for an alternative that offered a better/long term vaping experience. If you want something more long term, then go for a mechanical mod - though they do all tend to be on the large size If you want a smaller variable voltage, then go for the ego Twist or a Spinner

I am looking to upgrade from the ego, with something that has a removable battery, but still fits in the pocket and not worried about wear and tear. I am not stuck on the techie ones, just overwhelmed with all the options and opinions. Any suggestions on mechanical mods that fit my needs?

sorry chrissie, your post only came through. I wanted to be able to change batteries and just replace them rather than the device. Are all mech mods quite big and not pocket friendly?

A warm welcome to you Halerquin . . . there's no way I'd be parted from any of my Provari's, you'd have to prise them from my cold deaded bosom. Best vape from any of the devices that I've had the pleasure of owning. Each to their own though, but my advice would be to use it and enjoy it, you won't find anything to better it. IMHO obviously. Yeah but you've not tried anything else have you Perps *shopping*
