This is my first "new car" ever. Usually I get the wiff's hand me downs that are invariably well bashed about and everyone thinks that I am the bad driver!!!

Drove all of 19 miles today!

We'll take it for a wee run tomorrow over by Loch Lomond.
Still getting used to all the switches and what does what and how.
Once I am more used to it, we'll put it in 4WD and take it for a spin up Ben Lomond.

I ended up getting a Focus instead as the Stepway was too long a wait and my previous car started spewing out clouds of smoke at traffic lights..

My Scenic is sitting outside ready for uplift by its new owner. I must have spent 1000 quid on it in the last year on bits rolling over and dying.

So I have taken out a 7 year warranty on the Duster.

I reckon they're alright..........my car has just expired & something like this would be fine......mind you, I wouldn't mind another Astra to be honest

Traded in the old one as it was mate..

We did a 60 mile trip in it today, stopping on the hills above the River Clyde for a picnic.

Took a few wrong turnings on roads we thought we knew and found ourselves driving along farm tracks that had grass growing along the centre, but the Duster took them all in its stride.

Very comfortable to drive and very responsive handling.
However it will only be once the running in period is over that we will start to enjoy its fuel economy.

On the downside, I had to step outside the car to eat my packet of Crisps, with SWMBO screaming, "I don't want any crisp crumbs on my new carpet!"
It'll no be that when it's time to get the vacuum out! Yours truly will get handed the bloomin' thing as he gets shoved out the door.
