Does anyone have one and if so, what do you think of it?
Has anyone had a Test Drive in one and if so, would you buy one?

Funny, earlier today I was actually looking on the Darcia website, I might actually get the Darcia Sandero Stepway. Getting it on their Dimensions Finance, I can't see a problem. If the car breaks, they fix it, if you don't like it at the end of your agreement, you give it back. minimum contract is 13 months and you can get it with 0% up front! www.dacia.co.uk/owner-services/finance/

I have looked at all the models and the Ambiance looks like the best one for us.
For the price, there is nothing else that comes close to it on spec and Carbuyer has voted the top of the range, car of the year for 2013.
We have had Renaults for the last 10 years but they are adding on too many stupid accessories these days and the Dacia's have taken things back to basics, thereby cutting the price and giving you a straight forward, no nonsense deal.
They have been doing well in France in recent years and judging by the waiting list for them at our local garage, they look as if the are going to sell well here also.
I am just waiting for one to come in and I will be booking a test drive. Hence my questions on here.

Nice looking car lobey, I take it your thinking of getting one Yes we are. Possibly the 4X4 as we tow a Folding Camper and getting in and out of campsites can put a strain on our present Scenics.

Personally I wouldn't bother with 4x4 unless your going off road. Just get a large diesel engine Fwd and your laughing. My little mk6 1.6tdci could pull a 6man folding camper for fun, getting something with a bigger engine is just a win win all round.

I was looking at the spec on their website seems pretty good, Yea the 4x4 would make sense for the camper.

Yes. We have had too many hairy situations with the Scenic and the FC to now go for anything less than a 4X4 and there does not seem to be much of a difference in MPG.
