Just been watching the news, and it's obviously about the Queen being hospitalised. But have you seen the size of the policeman standing outside the King Edward VII Hospital? He's twice the height of his colleagues and there's no way I'd be arguing with him. I think I'd even accept a parking fine off him if I was riding a bike. I bet he's a loveable giant.

If you ever have a Royal round to open your new wing or whatever, you'll be told to have your tallest person on hand in case they need to hold an umbrella. I guess the police were told the same.

Yet the grandkids have him wrapped around their finger. He cried last night watching a baby zebra trying to wake its dead mother up on TV, and i can honestly say he has never ever raised his voice let alone his hands since i have known him.
Haven't seen the policeman yet. Will watch the news later

So true Dolly, the big guys have nothing to prove, and are usually the friendliest of people in my experience. It's the little squirts (apologies to any little squirts out there) that think they need to 'act' big.

Edit: I'm talking about the males here, have no experience of the female equivalent

Good grief!!! I just saw the policeman on the news. He makes the other copper look like a garden gnome! I have never seen a policeman that big before. He's the sort you need on the Saturday night shift in town centres

They have just been talking about the policeman on the This Morning programme. He is Britains tallest policeman at a massive 7ft 2". The poor other one is actually quite short too, although they didn't say his height, but his surname is Thitch. Take away the first H and the name fits standing next to the other one
