Quick advice for a pal

Got a pal on the phone, she is just trying her brand new Riva kit from vape escape. What is e cover cone for, where does it go and what does it do? many thanks!

It just screws onto the base over the top of the cartomiser to make it look prettier

She was having trouble as it was making her cough, really really badly.

She has a bad cough but it was really making her cough badly, she was on 70:30 Ry4 from vape escape.

I think she is going to a shop today to get some advice, she was also going to try the cartomiser and see if that was better for her. I suggested maybe she would be better with 50:50 and a higher resistance clearo (she was using the one that came with it, 2.4 i think) but i am not confident enough to know if my advice is right, hopefully the shop will put her straight. She has no Internet access at the moment either so she can't get on here for advice.

Shorty, tell her to not inhale on it the same way she would a cigarette. Instead, she needs to draw the vapour into her mouth & hold it there for a few seconds before taking it back. In fact she doesn't really need to take it back as she will absorb the nicotine in her mouth.

Shorty I had the same problem. Inhaling the vapour made me cough so much I almost threw up. Tell her to hold it in her mouth for a few seconds then blow out. Every now and again try inhaling a tiny amount of vapour and see how it feels.

Took me almost 3 weeks to get used to it and find a way of inhaling that suited me. I can now inhale all the time and it making vaping so much nicer.

Yeah I was really confused at first, this isn't a cigarette so how come it really hurts? In the end I just got used to it. I eased myself in with higher VG content that made a huge difference to me, physically and psychologically! didn't hurt my throat and I saw massive clouds when I exhaled. Just been having the same conversation with a mate who started yesterday. I can vape pretty much anything now.

I use the cone to keep the air-flow down....maybe that's just me, not liking airy draws!
