New 186550 torch mod

I saw this torch modded and loved it's design.
I bought a few ..lol when i was back in the UK and wanted to make a mechanical mod rather than pay the high prices for another mechanical mod.

The switch is mechanical and a small board for the atty connection and light. I will try to make another one which will be 100% mechanical and less parts to go wrong. It's getting to where i want it with a wee bit of tweeking required as the switch spring as a little strong.

Don't like the light and the body looks like a piece of liquorice but it looks like it could be a great little mod.

I think its smart and very unique tbh,i like the LED as well.It looks like it fits like a glove in the hand.

I like these a lot. I looked at doing a few but the bodies are relatively expensive so passed on the idea. It's a nice mod though Graeme. Well done!

I've been wanting to mod and sell these for months now and its probobly the reason I got banned from TW@ts forum.

Expensive unmodded Sean ? You look in the wrong places although can be if bought at shop price.

To be fair though they are a pig to do but worth it as the housing is of first class standard and made by a reputable company (ring) who make light bulbs ect.
The black part of it is rubber and can be removed as it slides on to cover a full aluminium body.

If they come in at anywhere near £5 then I consider them expensive as a mod base Mark. I try to get decent quality bits at rock bottom prices, to turn out good mods at good prices. If they don't, PM me the link and I'll get started on them!

Lee i'm sorry it's not to your taste ...i will try harder next time.
They are not cheap before modding, not easy to mod or to get a hold of.
There will be some available when i get it to where i want it but dont expect it to be 20 quid but it will be lots cheaper than the current crop of 18650 mechanical mods.
