Been to work today and so glad I don't work on the shop floor (supermarket), because it was crazy. We must have sold an entire market garden's worth of flowers... bunches, bouquets, arrangements etc. Literally hundreds and hundreds. Plus the chocolates of course. And the worst is still to come because tomorrow morning it will be chaos when all the men suddenly realise what day is. There will tears and fighting around the last bunches, just like the last sprouts at Xmas! So glad I work out the back and don't have to deal with them.  Hugs to you Chrissie and Esme, it's days like this that brings our losses back to mind. |

What a good guy you are. You have been well trained by someone I am being taken out for lunch by my brood tomorrow. Little Danni my GD, stay with us overnight last night and she sat quietly at the little drawing desk I have here for her, then bought me the most lovely hand drawn card of a princess, a rainbow and lots of flowers on. She said even though i am not really her mummy I am still her GRAND mummy. Bless her little heart. |

I've always bought my Mum a card and flowers and she still gets them now even though she passed away in 2007, I put them on her grave. ?
ETA Kibbster, funkypigeon are cheaper than moonpig and their cards are just as good.

I am still trying to hunt down a handbag for my mother. Slightly funky, with a cross the body strap, nice and big for all her bits and bobs and dog poo bags...And it must be waterproof
