In the last couple of hours I've had rain, hail, freezing cold wind and now it's started snowing! Hope I can get to work tomorrow! Everything is frozen solid, including the washing I forgot to get in!

I have a package en route from Sadie, that could be here maybe Thursday, we're forecast the white stuff until Wednesday, so the snow & country lanes may delay that.

Jess. I'm in basse Normandy and we've had rain all day but it was getting colder and colder, the hail started as I came out of work then about half hour ago, went to let dogs out and BLIZZARD! But worried about leaving tomorrow morning at 6.30!
Waiting on some vape stuff and my Mother's Day present from my daughter so really hoping it doesn't last too long!

Karma We do get it sometimes, normally though, we're one of the 'warmer' parts, only cos we get rain. lol It's a pain being a Northerner! Although it was a balmy 17° 4 days ago, with wall to wall sunshine. ??? So here's hoping we all get back into Spring very soon.

11° & they were in shorts??? Mind you, I spose a kilt can't be that warm, especially on a freezing, blowy day & there are some that wear a kilt daily. Thank goodness, as I do like a man in a kilt. As my friend that lived on Lewis announced loudly across a very busy garage/store when a friend of hers came in wearing his & wanted to introduce me.

Do i really want to get in my car at 6am after a night of blizzards to drive to Chelmsford?? NO I DON'T!!

But Mr Dolly had to be at work as he is only one in charge.. He is not allowed to drive my car unless i am in it (Motability regulation) So i had no choice.
Only having the car less than a week I was terrified i would slip or slide getting in and out of our street as we are at the bottom of a very steep hill. I made sure he got all the snow off the car though LOL... a small domestic dispute started when I saw him approaching the front door with the wooden broom...ERRRRRRR... "what are you doing with that?"...him.."gonna sweep snow off the car"
"WHAAAAATT"...sweep snow off my brand new car with a bristly broom?? i think not!!
Honestly. What are they like girls? Turfed out of my lovely warm bed at some ungodly hour into the cold and he then wants to wreck the paintwork on my new baby.

Thankfully for him journey was fine once i got out of our street.

I'm snowed in at the mo, no buses or trains running, it appears that the County & District Council knew about the snow days ago........... but made no provision to grit the roads............. all schools & colleges are closed here today

Well, you stay indoors and keep warm.
I made Mr Dolly go in the supermarket on the way to the prison and get me some lovely tomato soup and crusty rolls. That will keep me warmed up till he comes home.
