So I have tried AgaT2 with mesh wick, and silica wick, but I just can't seem to get as satisfying a vape as I do from a Nova. All my Nova's are re-headed by me, a couple now with dual coil at 1.4ohms (dead chuffed with that btw) so I'm pretty confident with my abilities to setup the Aga properly........BUT.
.....it tastes like crap.
Any odd advice or tips gratefully accepted. I nearly put it up for trade earlier.. Grrrr.

What resistance are your coils on the T? What mod are you running it on? Etc etc etc Especially with SS wicks, it definitely takes a little while to bed in - my 'eureka' moment with my AGA-S was this morning when the coil and wick finally settled properly.

SS Wicks do need a bit time to bed in as well I find. Which juice are you using?

I've tried coils between 1.8 and 2.4 made in 0.2 kanthal. In a Vamo 18650 mode. I have been all over the rev range in terms of VW .Stayed primarily with my Caramel or Expresso flavours I know I like, not tried a fruity one. It currently has a 1.9ohm coil with a 3mm silica U-wick, I have vaped about 3ml of juice, but it just tastes dirty. Mono

What's the pg/vg of your juice I found more vg struggles with out the juice wicks (top coil) like aga unlike vivi that have the coil nearer the juice but that's just my opinion.

Most of mine are 70pg/30vg. Not really a fan of VG for that exact reason.

Not had a problem with high-VG liquids in my AGA-S, except for the bit where it doesn't hold enough of them I use 400 SS rolled solid, wicks like a good un even with 70/30 Gorilla Juice on a cold atty.

I just read your title on my Galaxy Note, which of course has a smaller screen than my laptop and I swear it said "Just can't get the satisfaction Age-72" and thought I had better read this, Doh must get my eyes tested

Mo, Have you tried the cotton wrap method? I presume you have all the normal stuff sorted: air hole alignment, no hotspots, good wicking etc. Maybe post a coil pix or two, a dry burn shot would be nice. good luck I

I use the original AGA T with #400 SS mesh, i reckon it takes a couple of days hard vaping for the taste to come right, I use a 2.5 to 3 ohm coil and run it at 9.5 watts (Z Max) the flavour is way better than anything i have had using silica devices (both size novas visions).
Can be a right pain for the first few hours and i have to build up from 8watts to 9.5 as the coild starts to gunk up, but once it's at 9.5 i can keep the same wick and coil for 2 to 3 weeks.
I am A Vanilla Custard addict and so have to clean the coil about every 3 days (in situ in an ultrasonic cleaner) I just empty juice with syringe, pop in UC blast for 2 cycles and refill - and away i go again.
Can't see i would ever use silica again

Got my T2 today, but no silica in the house *smacks head* So I'm running it on a solid 400 SS wick, 0.2 Kanthal at 1.8ohms and it's really really good - vaping DCB 50/50 12mg at 9.6W as I type and it's delicious! Once this wick/coil has had a couple of tanks through it, it should be brilliant. The S heats up a lot faster, so I think I'll be keeping that for tobacco-type juices.

If you didn't then you need to make sure there is a bit of a gap where the wick sits in the hole, too tight and it won't wick very well.
Which # mesh are you using and what size did you cut it to? I use #500 45mmx45mm cut crossways from the sheet.
Do you think you've oxidised the wick enough?
Hollow or solid wick?
Does the wick look nice and wet to show it is wicking properly?
Have you got any hot spots at all and did you make sure all the coils glowed evenly before adding juice to the tank?
Bare in mind that some juices taste better with silica than with mesh. I found this with my Epipemods Oak Barrel Cider, in a nova it was ok but nothing special but in my Aga-T2+ the flavour is outstanding.
