There are OTHER forums?! This was the first forum I found, via a google search for a local e-cig shop. I've had a look at a couple of the others, but I get all the help and info I need here and it's got a great community feel to it, so I don't need to go elsewhere. And anyway, it would feel like I was cheating!

I'm a member at UKV, LF and ECF as well as here. I post occasionally at UKV, more regularly at LF and mostly here - ECF is a den of idiocy and elitism that I don't really have patience for.

I'm on ECF and UKV, but my favourite is here. Regrettably, I got nuked (flamed, but worse... ) early on on UKV and never really went back very often. I like it that Chrissie and the gang don't take any BS on here; it never made me comfortable posting alongside Vendors that were "bending" the threads to their own advantage and the presence of a "member" promoting a particular brand of mini e-cig also made it hard for me. I quite like them both, having said all that. If there are others beyond that.....I wish them luck. I get the feeling that the forum section of e-cig central doesn't really exist...which kind of makes me happy as I thought stealing the tag-line "all about e-cigarettes" was worthy of at least a public flogging......

I *think* I'm only a member here (the past couple of weeks I've been all over the web, looking at vaping sites), but also post on boards.ie, which has a vaping section, plus I'm on the Irish Vapers Facebook group. This is definitely the friendliest, most informative and most user-friendly forum I've seen, so I'm staying! Thanks for having me

I'm a member of the LF, UKV, PotV and ECF fora, and must immediately state that his 'ere's the most friendliest, informative, humorous and readable forum of the lot of 'em! Like others I find LF good but quite quiet, UKV can be a bit too technical for me, PotV, again quiet, and ECF? - only posted once, just didn't fit in. Thanks for the forum Chrissie and Perps, I'm afraid you're stuck with me right here folks! Andy

I found various different forums when first Googling about vaping, this one came up a lot & was so much more pleasing to the eye & also looked more friendly. Experienced vapers on here had been & are extremely helpful, not condescending, so it was also easy to find the answers to any questions that I wanted answered. So I joined! I joined UKV a few months back, only cos somebody on here posted a link to something & you had to be a member to see it, haven't posted there though & rarely look in.

I post on three vaping forums.
One where I can ask stupid questions without being ridiculed, one where I can watch Trog post the same thread over and over again, and one where I can swear and be rude to people without being told off.
I like them all as they each give me different things depending on my mood.

I found this site via ECF. I didn't like ECF much. Way too American, the only good thing there was the UK section which led me here. I am a member of UKV, but never use it unless there is a link posted to something from here. I find most of the other sites too male orientated. One of the great things about this place is the mix of boys and girls together having a good old laugh together in the lounge section. You start to feel you really know people and that is what really makes it a proper community. Then, because of that community feeling, the sense of wanting to help is borne. Whether it is vaping related or not, people here for the most part enjoy helping each other. Not for personal gain, but for the right reasons. That is why I will never leave here. I am not really into vaping for the hobbiest side of it so i dont really care too much about different mods etc. As long as i have something to puff on and I enjoy it thats all i need.

I do think all the forums (including AAE-C) have different strengths & weaknesses. Apart from trying to make this forum as friendly as possible, my main aim has always been to help folks new to e-cigs as much as possible. And I can never thank you all enough for helping new members & making this forum so friendly I saw a new member asking for help on one of the other forums a couple of days ago & one of the first replies, told them to google for an answer OK, in a way they were right as the new member would have got help by googling, but I doubt anyone here would ever reply like that.
