My Evic with Mini Nova just dropped out of my pocket this morning onto our laminate floor in the lounge. The newly filled Mini Nova exploded! After I mopped up the juice and checked the damage the Evic survived fine and I've rebuilt the Nova and it fires up fine so all that was lost was my Ming drip tip that snapped off in the head of the Nova. Could have been so much worse. As for the Evic... not a scratch on it  Can't knock the build quality  |

Close shave. Top pockets are not for e-cigs or phones!!! Never lost an e-cig, but many a phone has performed aerobatics as a result for me. The perform a great Ariel display, but not so great on landing. I'd imagine an evic to be pretty much the same. You have been lucky this time. Glad it all work out ok mate. |

Going to get a replacement drip tip tonight hopefully so all sorted and lesson learned... Probably.
Generally I'm pretty good at not dropping stuff, not this time though.
Glad it wasn't my phone, it is a lot more expensive than the Evic and I doubt it would fair so well faceplanting the laminate.

I have a T3 with gaffa tape wrapped round it screwed into a bent riva 1100 battery from a similar incident in a pub the other week. Brick floor, cracked tank.  Stays in the lanyard if I'm drinking now. However much of a tit I look. Still works though. Glad it worked out ok for you. |

I feel your pain, a while back I dropped my Penelope and mangled the mouthpiece and tank, AND put a nice scratch on the side of the cube to boot.
Fortunately Imeo pointed me in the direction of spares from Greece, nearly £50 and three weeks later I got replacements which taught me a lesson not to drop it again.
Of course it fell out of my pocket the following day, thankfully this time it was nothing that wouldn't polish out.
