Just think of it at a great opportunity to learn brick laying skills Clutter Mixing cement is great!
Doesn't it spoil the food processor ??? No surprise here but I have trouble with threading strimmer cord too. SO I CHEAT! I found some plastic tie wraps and threaded three into the holes on the strimmer, works a treat, no cord needed ;D You are absolutely inspired I have a shed full of stringless strimmers and loads of placcy tie wraps that will come in handy one day Now, the camera is on strike, otherwise I could list the mod strimmers on the eBay free listing weekend. Do you recommend I fix it with the claw hammer or one of the strimmers?

My advice is... take it to the camera shop and say, "How much to fix this?" "HOW MUCH?? I can get a new one for that!" wait for the price to come down a bit, and if it doesn't, take it home and carefully pick your weapon

Got one thanks Perpy! Why does the OH always wait until I am in the garage before posting on a thread, and I only asked about the nail gun, because there is a mouse in the shed and I can't find his air rifle tut. I was going to put a bit of chocolate on the floor and wait! The little swine has eaten into my grass seed bag and chewed through my carrot fly guard material

Mice love peanut butter, Kat. Stay away from Graham's nail gun or at the very least, don't point it at him. LOL

Hmmm.....maybe sunflower seeds, I know that chipmunks and squirrels love them. Then there is the old standby, cheese.

Choci with a layer of peanut butter. Drives em mad. Source: I live in the countryside and keep grain. On a side note is a air rifle not just a little overkill for a little mouse I use an air rifle to kill rats and rabbits. I don't think I have a good enough shot to get a tiny mouse. A friend of ours did chase a rat round his house with a 12bore once tho. that was funny, well frighting at the time when Im running for the door and the window gets shot out. But far more humorous now Regards Jez

Agreed Jez, although the little swine has done real damage in the shed, I was only kidding about killing him If I hadn't been daft enough to leave stuff in the shed that mouse thinks of as food and bedding, he would be living in next doors shed Now putting chocs and sunflower seeds in next doors shed

Mice usually enter in pairs, Kat, at least the field mice around here do. They set up housekeeping and raise a family. Even if you get rid of that one, you may want to keep putting down bait, for a few more days.

Re: Mice. Jerry if they breed in the shed, my dog will find the nest and eat the (Jelly) babies, he loves them! YUK! Re: Air rifle, I cant hit the a barn door at 10 paces, never mind a mouse > The OH is a really good shot and can get a pigeon from what seems like miles away. Usually they drop in the grave yard next door, (really quiet neighbours!) Guess who has to go find them and ring their necks if he hasn't killed them cleanly? Yep that would be me, running in between the graves and shouting sorry, if I tread on any. They are all old graves on our side from the 17th and 18th centuries, and no one cares for them tut >: ( I clear a few when i have a minute, but otherwise they are overgrown with cow parsley and nettles.) Re : cement. Chrissie I love mixing cement, I like to make ramps, so that you can get your wheelie bin out, instead of trying to pull the thing up a big step. Why is it some smart ass neighbour comes along and says "your cement is very GREEN, it won't set" My reply is always "I don't know why it is GREEN, I always do 1 in 4 and it always blerdy sets, so whats the blerdy problem?"TUT
