Why did you, or why not buy an evic

Got 8.4 volts on my battery check on the Vamo, I swear you could read a book at night by that display lol, got it at 15 watts with crystal menthol on my double coiled Phoenix, I think I may have just frozen my tonsils

I have tried the Ver.1 and at 5volts it is no difference to 5volts/11 watts on Ver1.2. I suspect that both versions have a built in limit as previously stated by Blackdog earlier in the thread.
Moving mine back to Ver. 1.2

Well, I have been giving my Evic a lot of thought as to whether to sell it including the bod tele tube or keep it, it is not quite giving me the hit that I would like even at 11watts.

I mix my own juice at 24mg and using a Kayfun Mini, it is not quite there as far as throat hit is concerned, bags of flavour and vapour. I use maximum VG which I believe does not give as much TH as PG.

For those who vape at lower mg nic there would be no problem but I am sort of at the maximum that the Evic will give.

There is a lot of talk about having to lower nic strength when using the Kafun but I have not found any evidence of that, in fact there is not a lot between the Kayfun and the Spheroid when using 24mg.

Tonight I decided to just increase the nic mg. up to 30 and the Evic is now vaping great at 10 watts although increasing from 24mg to 30mg. was not the direction that I wanted to go in but after thinking about it for a while, I have decided that my nicotine addiction is still an addiction what ever the level I am at, and I only vape between 1.1/2 and 2ml. per day so I am not sure that I need to worry.

So will give it some further testing and decide whether to keep or sell.......the Evic is a great looking set-up with the bod telescopic tube and the Kayfun Mini.

If that's all your vaping then i wouldn't worry one bit about the increase in nic levels, if increasing the nic levels keeps you and the evic happy then all's good

I used the "Recipe Lab Calculator" to give me the ml. of extra Capella flavouring required. I had 14ml. of Perps VC at 24mg and by putting that in as a base mix I only had to add 1.55ml. of 75mg.VG and .38ml. of Capella vanilla custard retaining my 25% flavouring. Able to vape it straight away as the PVC has already been steeping for 6 weeks or so.

1.1/2 and 2ml a day omg thats nothing greg , ive vaped nearly 10 ml today , perhaps if you try upping the pg a little.and drop your nic strenth

Thats what I thought Super-Shiny, there is little point of having the kit and not enjoying it at its best for the sake of a bit extra nic. I went through the same sort of thoughts with my caffeine intake. I have an expensive Nespresso coffee machine and tend to drink several cups of very strong espresso per day and got to thinking that perhaps I should cut down and then my second thoughts were bugger it, I love my coffee, so I didn't

OMG Bomber, 10 ml.? That sounds like loads. My mixes come out at 69VG/31PG but I just love the plumes of vapour almost as much as I love the TH, which is the reason I use the max VG taking into account that the flavourings are PG based.

Well at least you now have a comfortable basis if you should want to cut down your nic at some stage in the future. And you have the right bit of kit to help you with it

and just remember high vg no throat hit I normaly go for 50/50 max vg for me and pg . i always go for that strenth, but hey we are all dif.

I just hope that the next Evic software upgrade allows up to 15watts. I was using my 24mg PVC on the Vamo at 13 watts today and it was perfect.

Mine just arrived a few hours ago and I must say I'm very impressed so far. I only have my vamo's to compare it too but there is a marked difference in the vape. It has transformed the way some of my attys behave. I love my phoenix but always had to keep it borderline flooded to avoid harsh hits on the vamo's (both set to no2) I have it coiled at 1.8 at the mo and on the vamo you always get a "judder" with low res and also a bit of an "after burn" having to release the button a second or too before you end your draw. It's just an all round smoother vape, I'm assuming this is down to the frequency of the signal. My terminator loves it, totally transformed. Just got to talk the missus into letting me get the bod for it. I just ordered the chrome joyetech tubes to start of with. But deffinately a smoother vape which is just what I like. Never been too fussed about throat hit but still plenty enough watts available for me to crank it up a bit. much better threading as well. Haven't played with the MVR yet.
But all in all very happy.
