I've just managed to convince my brother to try vaping and he has just purchased all necessary kit but he's adamant to stick with a tobacco-a-like juice in the beginning - I mix my own juices so I need recommendations for a man that's been a moderate Golden Virginia rolling bacco man for the last 15 years... I can't really help myself out as I never went with tobacco flavours right from the off preferring other stuff....so I have no frame of reference or experience with them Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I set off with tobacco, I bought 4 bottle of different flavours, all tasted rank and put me right off them. Ive since decided to try once again and bought some ry4 nutzilla concentrate thinking it was a nutty tobbaco. I have to say its the best tobacco Ive tasted.

Golden rollie by flavour arts uk is based on Virginia, it's really nice, best tobacco flavour I've mixed.
The ry4 nutzilla is good too, though I added a bit extra caramel and vanilla to mine.

F'arts RY4 Nutzilla is a very nice vape. You can taste the subtle tobacco and hazelnut on the exhale. I've not tried adding anything else yet as I rather like it on its own.

I've got both FA and LT tobacco concentrates and so far I'm liking the FA golden rollie the best. I couldn't say if it tastes like a roll up because its been so long since I tried one. The LT concentrates are very nice and I'm going to try a mix with Golden rollie.

kent, (very caramel toffee based) dark fire(still steeping) three fives(my favourite and vapeable from 1-2 days) desert ship(quite spicy but ok) and max blend (making today) but Roger my tastes maybe completely different , I find majority of f'arts all have this hay taste I don't like ,even after 3 months in the case of 1 batch steeping

Funny I found a lot of the Wera Garden a bit sweet. But as you say different tastes. That RY4 Nutzilla is rapidly becoming a firm favourite of mine, even though it is a bit sweet. ???

Beginning to think I ought to try this Roger, as I do enjoy a sweet RY4 blend.

I got a dozen samplers to try, 2ml is enough to make a decent mix without ending up with a flavouring you don't really like. I'm trying to be a little sensible about flavourings these days.

And I don't feel a need to try new set ups I am in a very similar situation as well. Just trying the odd new flavouring, mainly using rebuildable drippers at home. I've gone back to basics in a way, not chasing the latest shiney, cos there will be another one along in a weeks time. It is very economical at the moment (and has been for a while)
