Do I need to steep a single flavour mix? I have some vanilla bean and some dulce de leche that I want to try as a standalone to see how strong they are. If I mix a 2ml sampler will it not be ready to vape after a good old shake?

Yes is the short answer Cammy . . . especially anything Vanilla/Custard related.
Give it a week.

A few drops of D de Leche in with your Raspberry is very nice Cammy, gives it an ice creamy sort of flavour.
A little combined with Chocolate Almond as well maybe.
It's also very nice with Caramel & Coffee as well . . . . although you haven't got Coffee I realise, but it could give your Caramel a ' fudge ' like taste with a dash of Hazelnut if you wanted a nutty fudge.

So go easy on the d de leche then? Just a few drops as opposed to say a half half mix?
Cheers

I'd start with 10 drops to 10ml, you can always add a little more if you feel you need more of the flavour. Less is more with D de Leche I find anyway. If you're going to make a Fudge based mix, I'd add a couple of drops of Vanilla as well.

So for example say I'm gonna mix it with some raspberry for a total 20% flavour - would my split be something like 13 rasp, 7 d de l? I know that I'll need to experiment with this but a good knowledge of where to start helps. Cheers C

I could vape it for long periods at that strength. At 15% I found it as strong as a cordial drink, refreshing but I wouldn't want it all day. At 20% It was too strong after the fist drag the flavour died and didnt taste of anything. Your raspberry %age is about right but is 7% 'd de I' enough to make a stand alone? It sounds to weak. I would mix the flavours as stand alones then slowly add one to the other so you have tested tastable flavours combining that wont push the concentrate %age levels up into the high 20. The other benefit of doing it that way Its always a Volume volume mix that can be recorded and used on a e juice calculator. If you start adding concentrate afterwards It becomes a volume mass mix that is not so ejuice calculator friendly.

I don't mix to an accurate science Cammy, I go by my lick test in the first instance to decide how intense I find any flavouring . . . that then determines how much I think should be added to a brew. Depending upon how I'd like my flavour layers to blend overall.
Dulce de Leche is a potent flavour, 10 drops in 10ml mixed with Raspberry at probably 15% would be enough to give me a tasty end result.
