hello not sure if this is the right place to post this so if in wrong spot i will say sorry now lol
i have a 2ml tank just a generic make i think cant see any name on it and it was just in a clear bag when i got it it has a removable plastic cover over the wick which is very short it just sticks out and touches the side of the tank i can remove it easily i was wondering if i would be better putting a longer wick in it that comes to the bottom of the tank
if i would were would i get the wick from as i have seen 2 types of wick mentioned so dont know which is best one was a silica wick i think it said and the other just said standard wick
again many thanks for your help
cheers paul

Sounds like some sort of vision clearomiser, i suspect the short plastic bit you are referring to is the Silicon cap and should not be removed, can you post a picture or a link to a picture

Does it look like this: [a href=" "]Vision Clearomiser[/a] If so the whiteish silicon cap under the black tip should be left in place. Simply unscrew the black tip and squirt your liquid down the inside of the plastic tank trying not to get it down the centre If it looks like this: [a href=" "]Mini Vivi Nova[/a] it's a mini Vivi Nova and again the silicon cap stays, only difference is the top metal part is unscrewed to fill

Hi there, not sure what tank that is but defo looks more like a vivi nova. Re the wicks it's not just a case of replacing the silica wick, if you look closer you'll see that the coil (heating element) is wrapped around the wick. I'd go back to the vendor you bought this from, if replacement heads are available then the vendor should carry them, then it's just a case of unscrewing the old head & screwing on a new one, but be aware not all tanks/clearos are rebuilable or have replacement parts.

Looks like a vivi nova to me.
If you want to buy wick and wire and do it yourself, just make sure you get some good wick. I don't do the stainless steel mesh thing in my kit, just bog standard silica wick. Trouble is, despite my best efforts, the wick I bought the most of is crap. I did however get a "gift" pack of wick, wire and juice from Vape-Space (thanks guys....) and that wick is good. I have some ecigwizard wick on order as well.
You may of course be able to buy ready-made atomiser heads, which are fine unless you feel you get through them too fast. However, not all heads fit all novas....best to ask your original vendor.

I do think longer are better, but then again, most top coil clearomisers need plenty of swooshing around of the liquid even with good wick.
What sort of kit have you got? Are you just on the mini nova? - maybe I can send some bits and pieces your way when I have my next clear-out.
