Mark,
Ask around on forum to see if someone has a spare head, if you get one you only have to solder two wires it looks like as per this vid: !

Do you have the IMG type code on flkr Mark? I copied this over for you. You need IMG type codes to work here. The connector is brass so easily damaged

Ouch!
Have you got larger screwdriver pozi/philips - 1/2 mm bigger than the hole that is there - say about terminal driver size? It might grip it if you say the ss is soft.

Mark, Ask around on forum to see if someone has a spare head, if you get one you only have to solder two wires it looks like as per this vid: Yeah someone else on UKV suggested that too romelee. The thing is you can probably tell from the pic i posted, me and fiddly stuff just do not mix and I would not trust myself to even attempt it. there would be solder all over the shop and I'd most likely end up shorting the circuit board. Do you have the IMG type code on flkr Mark? I copied this over for you. You need IMG type codes to work here. The connector is brass so easily damaged Thanks Robby....they only give a URL on Flickr I think....it used to work fine.

EDIT: how come my flickr pics do not appear anymore? I' have a pic inserted here? Tried superglue and it's not budging and I'm just damaging it more...it's still working on an evod, so think I'll leave well alone for now. I'm hopeless at this sort of thing and honestly I have tried to be really gentle with it. In fairness though the SS is as soft as butter. RE: flickr, click on your pic, then right click, copy image location, then on here click on the little insert image icon and paste the link, job done Oh dear, you made a bit of a mess of it lol. Ok, if you can carefully cut a small notch in the top of the vivi connector you could then push it round with a flat bladed screwdriver.

It could have been worse. It still works absolutely fine with an Evod, so a eGo-510 adapter is no big deal really.
Definitely will not be using a Nova again though on any device.

Seriously guys thanks for all the suggestions and I've no doubt you would all be more than capable of doing it. Alas my strengths lay more in the demolition area.

I might send the pic in to "Show Us Yours" on VTTV in the hope of winning some juice out of sympathy.

Mark, if you do manage to get your hands on replacement head and are stuck soldering it, I'd be happy for you to send it to me and I'll sort it for you.
It might be worth putting up a wanted thread in the classifieds, there's bound to be someone with a knackered one.

Cheers Simon that's a very kind offer. I may well just do that. I'd compensate you for your time too. Just had a thought, vaporbreak sent me a Pink Nova (I never asked for that they just sent me it) so maybe my Vamo just jumped off the desk out of protest.

The hard part would be getting the top off without damaging it. Mine just pulls off with my fingers
