Depending on how long it takes to make them, you could do very nicely out of selling them Marc. When they were available elsewhere they were going for a good price. I got it down to about 2 mins for a 4mm and 5 mins for a 2.5mm wow, not too bad then, do you boil them first or after they are made?

Im gonna try mine today with ribbon should be able to get about 8 wraps to get the resistance up I drilled mine out to 4mm mate I will do you a 2.5 mm if your's is standard but will warn you they are tiny and you have to be really careful when using them as they snap really easy mate Do mine the same as yours Marc and I`ll drill my Aga S out when I receive it, "if it aint broke, dont fix it" , yours works great, I`ll go with that

After I make them mate I boil them twice for about 2 mins each but when you get them just boil them for a few mins and you should be good to go

It will be interesting to see how the two different thicknesses work with sucking the liquid up. More may be less, and vice versa

Forgot to say using a 3 turn coil reading 1.9ohm at 3.7v and on the vamo it will still sit at 15w with no dry hits at all SORRY TO GO OFF TOPIC HEAR OPS CAPS sorry as far as i can work out not go the vamo yet but when you set it in volts mode it resets the wats to 3.0 and the same when you swop from wats to volts or dose its stay at the wats you set then you alter the voltage ? i am led to believe if you set it in volts its v2/R = wats so 3.7 with 1.9 atty = 7w, not 15w (don't no the formula just looking at a spread sheet ) so to get a 1.9 ohms atty running at 15w its would be some thing like 5.3 volts ??? wich is well in the red on the spread sheet dose it not burn and kill the battery dont mean to confuse people or myself and sorry if i have contradicted anyone wats and ohms still new to me that's why im asking

No because it adjusts the volts accordingly to what resistance you have attached mate

No because it adjusts the volts accordingly to what resistance you have attached mate yes so if you fit a 1.9 atty and adjust your wats to 15w its aprox 5.10v not 3.7v !!

It resets to the minumum when you swap modes for safety mate This is a brilliant little ohms law calculator, I have it bookmarked as a favourite on my browser. You put in any 2 of the four values (ohms, watts, volts and amps) and hit the calculate button and it works out the other 2. www.bowdenshobbycircuits.info/ohmslaw.htmIn the combination you mentioned it is running 5.3 volt at 2.8 amps . Well within the range of the battery because the Vamo is internaly manipulating your battery so it converts whatever is in your battery to the 5.3 volts punisher

Not sure mate without putt a meter on it Because the Vamo uses Pulse Width Modulation to get the higher voltages, you cant read it on a multimeter, you can only do it on an oscilloscope really

No problem punisher, it still confuses me and I have been using ohms law for 40 years lolol, but that link I posted is excellent.
