If you use the calculator link I sent you, all you can get out of a mechanical mod with a 3.7volt battery and a 1.9 ohm coil is about 7 watts. With a fully charged battery at 4.2 volts you will only get 9 watts punisherWith a "kick" installed in your mech mod you can get about 13 watts because the kick is giving you the 5 volts from your battery.

From watching reviews where they have tested the actual output on a Vamo, with a single battery fitted the best you can get out of it is about 12Watts when fully charged - to get higher you need to use stacked batteries.

I use mine stacked sometimes, not a problem if you follow the rules. I got them with the vamo kit I bought. It fairly lights up the display lol, you could read a book in the dark by it lol

Robby I was planning on doing something with stacked 18650s but got nervous about offering that to people with the inherent dangers. I'm allergic to being sued icon_shoppingm Can you think of any reason why fitting them in parallel would be an issue?

Personally, I cant see a problem with parallel batteries, the strongest one will always discharge first to the level of all the others. I have looked around myself for reasons not to in the past and cant really find any. I have a battery holder type thing which will hold four 3400mah batteries, could vape for week with that markmthere are a couple of pics floating round the net of double 18650s in a vamo, lol but they are all in one tube so it doubles as a self defence device as well, or a baseball bat? lol www.fasttech.com/products/0/10003990/1286603-diy-234-x-18650-batteries-holder-case-box-mobile-pthat was £2-50, the bits alone are worth that, it is barebones, what you see is what you get. Havent started on it yet.

I have been toying with something like that for when I do bike show weekends - but I normally have my van on hand so that's just as handy with a usb cig socket. But I guess that box could be carried about during the day. Then again a pocket full of batteries is simpler.
