Hi,
I started vaping last Tuesday, after smoking 20+ Marlboro lights for aeons. I got a TW Tornado Tank starter kit from their Burnley store and have still not finished the pack of cigs I bought on the Monday.
I know I paid over the odds, but it was an impulse thing I don't regret as it has already paid for itself.
The tobacco flavour at 18mg wasn't that great, but the watermelon was superb! So much so, I returned the spare unopened tobacco and got raspberry, coffee and liquorice in 12mg so I could vape more without too much nicotine! These are all pretty nice on their own, but all mixed together with 20% vodka is awesome!
I now have a low resistance atomiser and a V3 RCS, to my amazement the same juice is a completely different experience on each of these things, so much room for experimentation!
I am now so hooked, I am already looking into VV and VW mods and other delivery mechanisms, I will probably start with a V2 VAMO in SS if I can find one cheap enough, or some kind soul sells me one on here, this is going to be an expensive hobby although no where near the price of cigs which I am pretty sure I am done with.
Paul.

Hi Paul, I see the shinyitis has taken hold already Congrats on kicking the fags! Vaping was the first time I ever threw cigs in the bin, too I have always been a sucker for gadgets and toys This isn't the first time I have quit the smokes, I have done it a few times, usually last about 6 months before I turn into an evil moody ba£&@rd. i think the nicotine has kept me sane, without it I am not a nice person. lets hope evil Paul does not return with the move to vaping

Hi Dawoodster it doesnt matter what kit you got to start with as long as you have started , plenty of time to upgrade to lots of different toys:) im glad your enjoying it i think you will find most of us have similar stories when we started , then your smell taste etc comes back and you start to see all the positive things that happen when you quit the stinkies but you can still puff as many clouds as you like win win all round:) i will link for vamo's both good vendors and next day delivery:) www.ukecigcabin.com/Vamo_V2/cat1893785_1721174.aspxwww.vapeescape.co.uk/ego-vv-vw-18650-mod-vamo~466i got my first one here in a kit but out of stock at the mo www.vapertrain.com/product/vv2kgo for it i bought mine second week in and it hasnt left my side

I think there are a fair few of us with the same experience, and so far at least, vaping beats other methods of tobacco quitting hands down So, mods, rebuildable tanks, DIY mixing - plenty to keep you busy and evil Paul at bay

Hello & welcome Paul I think e-cigs help in so many different ways compared to things like nicotine patches. Not only do you get a similar relaxing inhale/exhale from ecigs to real cigs, but so much else. I also think it actually helps that vaping can become a hobby - lol can you imagine trying to turn using nicotine patches/gum into a hobby

Welcome dawooster, and congrats on your success so far. It costs more than fags to begin with, even if you aren't a shiny fan. Took me over 4 months to break even. I got my Vamo slow boat from China - Vapourbreak, £23 delivered. SS (the chrome tends to come off). It's a big b*stard, and I use it mostly in short mode (18350). They are technical reasons for believing that it is unsafe in stacked mode. Don't buy the cheapest batteries - there are rip-off copies out there. Efest is fine - e.g. www.vapeescape.co.uk/efest-imr-batteries~454.

Hello buddy and welcome. It's a steep learning curve, but you seem to have conquered that with going with the reliable VAMO as your first mod. Every day is a school day on this place for me, and a credit card breaker!

Hi Paul & +1 From me for the Vamo, I have 2 that I bought direct from China for under £25 each, but it can take a while for delivery. Well done with not smoking. Any questions you have just ask.
