Wrinkles

Ok so here's a question, does vaping still cause wrinkles? I know that nicotene is a poison and can cause these, but is it any less than what a cigarette would?

Just my personal thoughts.

Vaping should be better than smoking as you are not inhaling carbon monoxide therefore your skin will be getting more oxygen!

On the down side your still pursing your lips to take a draw, so this could be an issue!

Make sure you moisturise and use moisturiser with SPF in. The sun is the biggest cause of wrinkles!

I once worked beside an older lady that had smoked all her life. She used to wear bright red lipstick. As the day progressed the lipstick would bleed into all these wrinkles around her mouth, not a good look!

My skin is so much better since quitting the fags. I suspect (although I can't be certain) that as the vapour goes directly in my mouth without a load of smoke (off the lit end) also swirling around my face, and what comes out is as good as no nicotine, then it's a win-win.
Anything to keep my boy-ish good looks.

Various people have commented on how much better and healthy I'm looking - I attribute this to the lack of nasties in the tobacco smoke, rather than anything else!
Can anyone tell us which component of fag smoke causes the wrinkles? It's something I've never thought about before!!

Same here not as wrinkly now as I was when smoking and loads more colour.

I was always under the impression that it was the carbon monoxide depriving our skin of oxygen!

I can agree, but living in Scotland through this Winter, I still have plenty of colour!  Unfortunately it's blue

Yes Neil, it's my skin colour that's been commented on - more 'natural' and not so yellow. If we have a good summer, I will look forward to getting some tan on my face at least - I do like to spend as much time as possible outdoors provided the weather's right!
Thanks Karma, I had a feeling it was CO but didn't want to look a numpty by saying it 'out loud'!

I never get a tan, but everyone knows if I've been in the sun, I turn white (after being a terrible shade of red)

Quite depressing really, i'm either red, white or blue

If your going to leave out the red bit you'll need to stay out of the sun
