Labels for Bottles

I am making labels for the empty bottles that are on their way as i like uniformity, what label color do you think is best, also do you think font color is ok being black.

Or what would you choose if you don't like any of the following?

p.s My partner loves the little love hearts so they have to stay

You'll be making blends though Rom, so are those just to show what the lettering looks like?

I like the last pink option, which may not be to your taste of course.

I presume these are to replace the labels on the bottles of flavouring, or are they for your mixes?

Me confuddled as well 

I use a Brother label printer for my mixes, with the name and date mixed on it.  I prefer to leave the originals on flavours, it's easier to find them.

Me to with the originals Roger, otherwise all the bottles look the same and you spend more time looking for your required flavour, than actually mixing.


My labels are low tech, handwritten sticky on affairs from Ryman's . . . .

If you're going to do that.


Then I'd suggest a different colour for each range of flavouring, otherwise you're going to get into a helluva mess before you even start mixing!

Use good labels, or plastic type if poss, a little bit of spillage goes a bloody long way on paper Then you can't read sod all.

Then I'd suggest a different colour for each range of flavouring, otherwise you're going to get into a helluva mess before you even start mixing!

Yeah was thinking that just after i posted, might keep all the fonts black and do different color backgrounds or the white background (top one) and use different color fonts (would save on ink that way )

Yellow = Custard - Banana - Vanilla
Light Brown = Toffee - Caramel

etc etc

tbh the original labels give no indication of flavor anyway so it should be easier when i re-label them

I mean color wise, they are all just clear bottles with white stickers, mine will be clear bottles with different color labels
